Kansas Secretary of State to Eric Holder: Stay Out of Kansas – You Don’t Understand the Constitution

Kansas signed the Second Amendment Protection Act (SB 102) into law last month.
The bill protects gun owners from from new federal gun control laws and would actually make it illegal to enforce those laws within the state of Kansas.

Eric Holder threatened Kansas last week calling the new state law unconstitutional.

In response Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, fired back.
The general gist of the message was, “You’re wrong. You don’t understand the Constitution. Bring it on.”

Via Guns Save Lives:

Kobach insisted the State of Kansas was determined to restore the Constitution to protect the right of its citizens to keep and bear arms.
So far, Holder has not responded.

Will Kansas bleed again? The “One,” otherwise known as the POS POTUS, is starting to resemble James Buchanan.

Kansas don’t take crap from nobody no matter how high or low they be.

The “Fast and Furious” burn was awesome.
Kris W. Kobach really knows how to write a letter.

TX laws, is open carry of handguns completely banned, ...

Open carry is not permitted unless you are engaged in an "acrtivity" in which open carry is normal, i.e. hunting, target shooting, even fishing! No other open carry is allowed. An "open carry" bill similar to Oklahoma's bill has been introduced in the House of Representatives. Bill HB700. Its fate is currently "pending in committe". No votes as yet.

Other free states should join Kansas. Federal abuse of power over the states will get worse until the states stand up to the cult of Obama and Washington.

I would have loved to see the commie maggot’s face when he read this letter.

Given that "maggot" was spelled starting with an "m" and not an "f", I assume this is about Holder, rather than his drug-addled boss.

The druggie is jealous because Buchanan is the only occupant of the White House still considered even worse than Obama, even by many conservatives. Obama has to be #1 in everything, or he pouts.

Well, even assuming that to be the case, given the realities of production (see I, Pencil by Leonard Read), there is bound to be some part of the indirect or direct supply chain that originates outside of Kansas.

“The feds will claim the steel for the barrel came from Pittsburg, PA.”

So did the ATF agents, and the water for the manufacturing process. If your going to go by that standard nothing was ever made anywhere and interstate is meaningless.

When CW2 kicks off, you Kansans need to blockade Lawrence and man checkpoints on K-10 and I-70 to make sure that the liberals that flee don't make it to a safe haven.

Had Colorado and NV set up roadblocks the last 20 years, the liberal filth fleeing CA wouldn't be affecting their respected states today.

Why not let the libs flee?

Now, keeping them out, that’s what will be needed.

“Kobach is excellent. He’s also the one that helped write Arizona’s immigration law. Unfortunately, of course, the courts just ignored the law when they ruled.”

It’s the federal employees in black robes that we need to discredit as it is them who clearly are anything but just.

Show the people the law and let them see what corrupt & self-serving thugs that sit behind the Federal bench.

Holder does understand the Constitution. He just doesn't care about the parts that run counter to the left's agenda. Ignore it and it will go away is his motto.

Or they may decide that its time to retire the ICC because of abuses like the one Holder is committing.

It has been used as a bulldozer on the 9th and 10th amendments for the last 20 years, at least.
