When the M1911 arrived...in 1911...it was probably an immediate hit with military and law enforcement...and probably also labeled an assault weapon on day one of production. We’ve come a long way.

The AR-15 rifle, top, is a semi-automatic firearm just as all other common, legal, widely used civilian shotguns, rifles, revolvers and pistols are. Hmmm.

None of my weapons can be labeled “assault” since I wil not assault anyone, but I really like kick-ass defensive weapons of my choosing.

Since there is no set definition of the term Assault Weapon
[and in fact anything that could be used as a weapon could be used to assault someone.]
AND since there is NO differentiation between said Items and the Arms mentioned in the Bill of Rights it should be readily Clear that term is simply a Scam designed to ban ALL weapons scary looking or not.
