That- buit the purpose was also to control the masses- It’s no coincidendence that doctors have been givign out anti-depressents for everythign from severe depression right on down to toe nail fungus that won’;t clear up (claiming “We can’t determine hte cause, and htink it might have soemthign to do with your seratonine levels which cause stress i nyour life, which cause secondary issues liek the fungus susceptibility- so we’re givign you this drug to calm your mind”). And it’s no coincidence that doctors give out anti-anxiety drugs liek they are jelly beans- claiming everythign from full blown anxiety, irght down to rapid eye blinking is caused by anxiety
Once on these drugs, patients can be deemed ‘possible danger to society’ and can be denied the right to own guns- ocne hte govenrment knows a person has been on these, it can then DEMAND periodic evaluations by biased ‘doctors’ and can even, without any due process deny the person thingsl ike guns, the right to worok certain jobs on and on it goes-

A few years ago my health practicioner left his job to work on what he called a ‘massive electronic records system’ which was supposed to take years- I didn’t know it then, but now it’s obvious that it was in preperation for the universal gestapo system unde4r dear leader
MD Anderson is switching to this system. Not sure when it will be complete but the transition is moving forward.

Question: If these subsidized data-sharing systems aren’t built to share data to improve health outcomes, why exactly are we subsidizing them? And what exactly are companies like Faulkner’s doing with this enhanced power to consolidate and control Americans’ private health information? It’s a recipe for exactly the kind of abuse that’s at the heart of the IRS and DOJ scandals.
As I reported previously, a little-noticed HHS Inspector General’s report issued last fall exposed how no one is actually verifying whether the transition from paper to electronic is improving patient outcomes and health services. No one is actually guarding against GIGO (garbage in, garbage out). No one is checking whether recipients of the EMR incentives are receiving money redundantly (e.g., raking in payments when they’ve already converted to electronic records). And no one is actually protecting private data from fraud, theft or exploitation.
This is my question also. Where in hell does it say doctors or hospitals or anyone else I hire for that matter can sell and distribute my private information? Do we first need to retain a lawyer before going to the doctor? Does anyone actually believe the government wants this information or will use this information to better our lives or to promote liberty?
That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
What motivates a Billionaire, to take such a position?

But EPIC is still a pile of antiquated 20th century obsolete closed source client server crap maintained by an army of clueless low-end developers who are repeatedly recapitulating all the bad practices of software history. This article clears up a few things tho, like why anyone would buy it - it's a lot easier to buy stuff if the union goes along with it.
Of course you should always wonder why your interests would be aligned with the unions, just as unionized employees should wonder why the interests of union leadership are aligned with management, heheh.
Technically, the operating system for Epic is not the most modern. However, no other system provides the overall usability for providing and coordinating care across the inpatient and outpatient arenas.
