Down with the Constitution! Long live the IRS!

When the definitive work on The Rise and Fall of the United States is finally written, and it may not be that far off, there will be a full chapter on the IRS and other government agencies that have become massive empires in their own right, bigger than most of the world’s nations, and run with little supervision or restraint. There are obviously no checks and balances inside these agencies. Full article here

======================================================================

To prove he really meant it when he vowed to have the most transparent regime in history, Obama has requested of Eric Holder that he appoint Eric Holder to investigate Eric Holder. Obama wants this paragon of moral authority to investigate why he investigated the media, which Eric Holder says he can't remember doing. This should resolve any conflict of interest. Maybe he'll forget to appoint himself. Either way, Holder will be assisted in his probe by the same crack team of investigators that probed Fast and Furious, which Holder says he has no knowledge of either.

Meanwhile, Obama urges passage of a media shield law he strenuously opposed to shield the media from Eric Holder, who'll be back at it once he completes his self-investigation and clears himself of any wrong doing. Another law for Holder to ignore. It should do the trick!

Obama now claims he doesn't want Holder treating regular reporting as a criminal act, only the stuff Faux News is doing. So brazen has been Obama's attempt to gag the media that even NBC News has noticed it. It now acknowledges that Holder personally signed off on the search warrant targeting Fox News's James Rosen, suspected of plotting and inciting news reporting. Holder already told Congress he's recused himself from attempts by his Department to criminalize reporters, so the warrant must've been signed by his deputy, Autopen.

Autopen personally OK'd the warrant, then went ahead and personally seized Rosen's emails from his private Gmail account, seized his personal phone records, his work phone records, his parents' phone records, including call detail records, then fought to keep the warrant secret. You wonder how Autopen can sleep at night. But good luck trying to haul its bony little arse before Issa's Committee, Autopen'll just take the Fifth. In fact, it has declined to comment on the case altogether.

The interesting thing about all this lame-o 'plausible deniability' jazz is that none of it is plausible. Whether it's Benghazi, IRS or press snooping, so outlandishly implausible the denials seem in most cases, Juan Williams believes them. But no one else, and that's the point. Benghazi talking points undergo a dozen major revisions magically. Consulate burns down, but not to worry, Obama swiftly finds the real cause from reading 'My Pet Scapegoat, a YouTube Video'. Holder's near total memory loss. IRS head honcho Doug Shulman's 118 White House stopovers for Easter Egg Rolls. The Cincinnati 'low-level' IRS rogues. Every servile Obama lackey from Treasury to chief of staff to White House Counsel to down-the-hallway office groupie gets wind of IRS's targeting scandal except Obama. Even if you assume Obama's just filling out the role of frontman, no need to know, there just to read speeches and fundraise, with all the string-pulling by president Valerie Jarrett, it's hard to stitch together a 'plausible deniability' scenario for any of this without cracking up.

Anyway, that's ...
My Two Cents ...

The IRS is probably a good example of how comrade obama envisions the government should be.

The Rise and Fall of the United States????

LOL

Please. I get the hysterics and I support a bit of hyperbole anas well resort to it from to time but, the USA ain’t going down.

We just need some bumps and bruises, which is what we are getting right now.

We have an administration that has incoherent policies because their ideology flies in the face of reality.

They start with failed premises, set the table, do the seating arrangements and decide the menu, with no concern for orhers tastes , dietary restrictions or for that matter preferences.

Then they want us to play a game of cards where they are the dealers but, make no pretenses about stacking the deck, much less dealing from the top.

Everyone goes along for a bit and after a while loses interest.

It was a cute setup and an adolescent indulgence, mostly for entertainment and distraction.

However, the schtick gets old and stale after a while and people start to look for more substantive activities and more fulfilling entertainment.

Sometimes that entails moving on to New projects and forging lasting and meaningful accomplishments.

We’ve indulged ourselves enough with Barrack as a strange and wasteful “y” in the road , that we took five years ago.

Now, we and him have grown bored with each other but, neither can leave the field of contest until the contract is up and both become free agents.

3 and a half years from now we will seperate and find objectives that for one side will be an acknowledgement that more mature and reasoned directions are called for and the other will continue a path of narcissicm , self adulation and constant promotion of a stuck that’s just grown weary and while searching desperately for a shrinking audience that says “feel free to ride off into the sunset. You’re boring and the price of admission to see your Midway Carney ain’t worth wasting time on or blowing good money, which could be spent creating life fulfilling memories”.

We take a nap now, with one eye open, preseving our energy and resources for the coming battle tospput adults back in charge.

In the meantime, we actively work to undermine your final interlude in 2016, by hiring men and women who have real ideas, which will work in this very real world.

You’re off to fantasy land and mypopic utopia when your time is up.

There’s really no need for any investigations.

It’s all George Bush’s fault. He did it (whatever it might be) and he should be held accountable by the
Democrat Senate (when it assumes all the duties of government).

See, ya’ know?

IMHO

Good to see you, JH2.

When in the course of human events...

He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.

Since Erik "the Red" Holder has been in government, the blood on his hands has increased exponentially.

Nixon wanted to be able to investigate Nixon.

Madoff wanted to do the investigation of his Ponzi scheme. Holder wants to investigate Holder and the IRS wants to check out their own dirty laundry.

How charming - and predictable.

WHOA! NBC? The suck-up network of all time notices? Yikes. Never thought I'd see that day.

No deal without our own small shops, and no bipartisan, socialist, political/regulator class hag overseers. The first repeals will be repeals of zoning ordinances/laws against new, small manufacturing shops in rural areas. We know where that's going. We'll talk about revenues, but certain privacy measures will be passed. Our way, or your debt highway all the way (in other words, no sale, austerity measures continue).

“...but, the USA ain’t going down.”

Are you sure about that?

What is your criteria for ‘the USA ain’t going down?’
