Good for her, but I can’t help but wonder if she will cry when she wins.

With all the Dem held seats in Illinois, why is she hitting a GOP incumbent with a primary challenge?

Good point. At least it will be more attractive if she does so.

Wasn’t it William F. who said that we’d be better off with a Congress of former Misses Americas than with the current crew?

She's gonna primary a sitting Republican running on restoring conservative principles? The article says Davis is a first-termer. What is his record? If he's conservative, let's raise money to help her move to a different district. If he's a RINO let's raise money to help er oust him.

Either way, where do I send money?

Really. A conservative black female beauty queen Harvard grad? She's got just about every demographic lined up except ugly democratic female manatees. It would be smarter, I'd think, for her to run in an abutting democratic district, and if their campaigns corrdinated, assure both districts for the 'pubs.

Poeple picked off the street at random would be better than the current crew.

I live in Davis’ district. He’s OK but no shining star, more of a go along to get along type.

As a resident of the People's Socialist RepuliK of Illinois I think I'm qualified to answer that question using nothing more than simple mathematics.

For example: Four (4) of Illinois' previous 6 Governors have gone to jail. That's not "every other" Governor, that's 66.667% of our previous 6 governors that have gone to jail.

Now, if you live in Illinois 2nd Congressional District, 100% of the past three U.S. Representatives of that District have gone to jail. They are (1) Gus Savage, (2) Mel Reynolds, (3)Jesse Jackson Junior (awaiting sentencing.)

Elsewhere in the People's Socialist RepuliK of Illinois, it darn well FEELS like every other one of these rat bastards (R & D alike) should be in, or on their way to jail!

And don’t forget the state narrowly elected a gov. who promised to raised income tax over a guy who promised not to. The rate went from 3% to 5% and from what I can tell, the state is still broke as hell. Shrug.

A week after the Obama machine shows up in Chicago for a fund raiser, she shows up to run as a republican.
Sounds like a infiltrator to me.
