Some women I have met are probably physically capable and mentally capable;

I have never met or seen those women and have no reason to think that they are in the military and ready to apply for a slot to SEAL school.

Applying Big Army speech and living arrangement standards to SOF culture will annihilate it. People that seek out dangerous work are wired for assertive, outgoing behavior. Simply put, there isn't any way to square the concerns of modern policy with a warrior culture. They cannot coexist. Destroying the warrior culture to make room for modern policy concerns will cause most SOF operators to drift away into other lines of work.

This is absolutely true and the nation will be weakened for it, which given the current Marxist regime, makes perfect sense.

While having female SEALs or Rangers may play well in Hollywood box office, in actual practice it would be about like having 15-year-old males of somewhat smaller than average physical stature in the team.

If you can’t put them in the football defense line, any potential candidate probably will wash out of the training on a purely physical basis, or the training would have to be so diluted as to be practically a failure when it comes to preparing for really demanding tasks. And it is not merely a matter of muscular strength. Smaller bodies are just more subject to traumatic damage when struck with massive forces.

When you send in the “A” team, you mean for them to win.

Both of your BILs were Naval Officers as I was a Security Service linguist in the Air Force. It was a different world and a different USA then. The military did not freez honorably in place when your BILs left the Navy.It and the other Services have become something quite Other. My son is career army. He thinks the changes are insane. I don't think they are insane per se. They are what a sworn enemy of the USA would sanely do if he somehow got control.

I think the changes are insane also. I just don’t like to see this issue used as an exuse for derogatory slurs agans’t women.
