A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago.
However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down.
Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded and crashed off the coast of nearby East Moriches, Long Island, killing everyone on the plane.
“..This team of investigators who actually handled the wreckage and victims’ bodies, prove that the officially proposed fuel-air explosion did not cause the crash,” reads a statement by the producers of the film, which will debut on cable network EPIX next month. “They also provide radar and forensic evidence proving that one or more ordinance explosions outside the aircraft caused the crash.” However, the statement said they did not speculate about the source or sources of any ordinance explosions.

Remember who was conducting an exercise that night? The Navy knows what happened. They may not have been the cause, but they were at the scene when things happened.

at 15:30 you can hear what the ME has to say and it starkly contrasts what the government theory is. It is also striking for his description of what he did not see on the bodies, leaving him with doubts about the government “story”.
Respectfully, while I agree with the assertion that acts of terrorism were involved, and covered up, both TWA 800, and AA 587 (Nov 12, 2001) had just taken off from JFK, as opposed to final approach. Thank you.
They may have taken credit, but operationally their incentive was to gain notoriety, which is one thing the Clinton Administration didn’t want to give them. Instead he preferred to control the press and squelch their notoriety as a patriotic command, than to abide by the Constitution and allow free press.

My accountant was just talking about that crash. It seems that the IRS determined that the passengers lived for several minutes, and knew they were going to die, thus the lawsuit awards had to go to them instead of to their families. Based on that decision, they all had to pay inheritence taxes. Had they died instantly, the estate taxes could have been avoided.

...if your talking about the guy who was in the flight suit...he was a USAF C-130 pilot, Colonel I believe.

A terrorist group announced it ahead of time. They said watch for something big around the Olympics. Then that little coffeepot went off under a park bench and everybody claimed that was the something big. Blamed the wrong person and everything. To protect what really happened.
They've been hounded for decades and bankrupted by the feds because they refused to back down.
Not to mention, a bit of harassment by the IRS!

I also remember the crew of a military cargo plane (possibly a c130) being interviewed on the night of the crash. They were introduced as having been in the area and deploying flares at high altitude. Something that made me have a wtf moment . There was nothing else mentioned about this again.
I bought his book and read it.
