What did she really offer? When you strip away all the emotion and agenda she didn’t see anything. She only heard the beginning of the confrontation. That’s it. There was nothing in her testimony that would create reasonable doubt about Zimmermans story. In fact, her testimony could be construed as confirming Zimmermans account. She basically said Martin initiated the confrontation by turning to Zimmerman and asking “what are you following me for?”

Rachel Jeantel egged Little Trayvon into attacking Zimmerman and when he was killed on account of her she went dark, only surfacing when Benjamin Crump hunted her down and coached her on what to say and wrote a letter for her.

The more I listen to her testimony, the more I felt sorry for her. She was straight forward and seemed to be honest, yet I immediately became aware of her public (government) school education (or lack thereof). It is such a shame that we are producing such inarticulate and uneducated people in our schools.
