Day 16 (Week #4) Zimmerman Trial – Witness Discussion Thread
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | July 1, 2013 | Sundance

Today, July 1st, is DAY #16 (of 4th week) State of Florida V. George Zimmerman case.

Last week the prosecution feebly presented the first series of witnesses against George Zimmerman. However, as most observers would note, the witnesses called by the state have so far been more beneficial for the Zimmerman Self-Defense position.

GZ said one time that he wouldnt follow Martin because of his wife.

He has told conflicting stories about WHY he got out of the car.
______________________________________________________________

What was “conflicting” about Zimmerman’s “stories”.

Interrogator: Why do you brush your teeth?
Me: To freshen my breath.

Interrogator: WHY do you brush your teeth?
Me: TO PREVENT TOOTH DECAY!

A couple of different stories, but they’re hardly conflicting.

P.S. I could be wrong about the babysitting part. No one knows if ‘Chad’ was even there. Even if he was, then Brandy’s sister (the one with a drug dealer arrest record) might have been doing the babysitting. Brandy may not have even been living in the townhouse at the time.

Actually, the sh** he bought is just a distraction. While some know it’s a “high” thing...those six jurors likely know zip about it...just like me.

Speaking of the possibility of their being video footage of the incident, were you aware that the HOA had security cameras, but they weren’t working, hadn’t been for a while?

Is that why they settled so quickly with Martin/Fulton ?

"He went out on foot looking to see if he could keep track of where Martin went. Martin was going where a car wouldn't go, and he wanted to keep him in sight until the police could arrive so he could tell them where the suspicious person went."

I'll go one better, the dispatcher indicated GZ should keep an eye on him. Twice the dispatcher asked GZ to relay TMs actions. Hard to do from a locked car and the suspect out of sight.

Unless they could prove he was on 'lean', you are correct. The Skittles and Drink have nothing to do with what happened.

Oops, I mean GZ MIGHT have lost his right..not that he did..since I don’t know if he was the aggressor.

Can you PROVE, BEYOND ANY REASONABLE DOUBT, that George Zimmerman was the aggressor?

If you can, Zimmerman's got a problem.

If you can't, not so much.

Thanks much. That clears that up...It was not exposed unless he raised his arms at the least.

The only street name I know in my subdivision is my own.

I know to turn into my neighborhood because of the big sign on the main road, which name I do know. I then know to take the second left (my street) and follow it around to my house.

In between I pass 3 cul de sacs, none of which I could tell you the name, and I've lived here 10 years.

My guess would be that they carried a huge Lloyds of London Umbrella policy.

If insurance picked it up and I'd guess that they did, there's a chance that the "payoff" can be recovered. Just love the possibility.

Did you know that Bubba (Clinton) had insurance that paid off the chick that Bubba perjured himself about.

One of those lessons of life...We do not absorb unnecessary information....which is why we make such lousy witnesses.

“Ah, but that we should all have such humorous typos!”

Maybe we just started something. Perhaps somewhere out in cyberspace, a 14 year old Trekkie read our posts and is now looking at a phaser, a bolt of cloth with “die, Klingon, die” embroidered on it, and a staple gun.

If Martin was afraid he would have gone home.

Let's extend that.

If Martin had been afraid, Zimmerman most likely would not have an apparently broken nose and multiple lacerations to the back of his head, because Martin would have fled rather than fight Zimmerman.

Remember, the scene of the death was not down some alley with no escape. It was on an open sidewalk with exits to both the north and south.

And if Martin had been afraid, and shot by GZ, he most likely would've been shot in the back, not the front.

I'm starting to think the phone call was a set up...and she would be a witness for Tray...and they were creating a story while Tray was on his way to beat the sh** out of GZ.

It's the only thing that makes sense that would let Tray get away with killing GZ...and I do believe that's what he intended to do.

Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't. That never mattered to me. It was my wife who was convinced he was...till I showed her the map.

"That is a recipe for getting shot by the police."

Yes...didn't he say he holstered his gun as the first cop arrived on the scene?
