You realize that this court has been around for 35 years, right?
I'm speaking about what they're doing now. Not 35 years ago.
They use the cover of terrorism for doing anything they want.
And it worries me that John Roberts is appointing anyone to any position.

his path toward the law began in part when he was stopped by police in the early 1960s simply for being black”
...so now he feels it’s his job to screw over every white person he comes across. That’s not “racism”. That’s “social justice”.~sarc

My comment was specifically about his judicial behavior in FISA. At this point we don’t have enough information to make that type of charge one way or the other. We may never have access to that type of information.

Hi ruralvoter, I hope you are well.
Something I’ve always wondered abou “FISA Courts”. Are they really courts? Are there opposing parties appearing before them? Is there due process? Do they act as an ombudsman, without opposing views? Hmmmm.

Posting this article will perhaps prompt a good discussion about FISA.

I was going to say something about this clown being a rubber stamp for whatever the government wants, but that’s also true of most judges who will sign whatever the cops put in front of them. Otherwise we wouldn’t have something like 40,000 judge approved military style raids every year.

You have to throw SCOTUS a bone and make them feel involved in the tyrant’s scheme in order to keep any legal challenges to the activities at bay....

Gee. Reggie doesn't look like a Rubber Stamp.
Looks, I guess, can be deceiving.

> Do you have any evidence that he views his job this way, or acts in this manner? Good question, but the violation of the 6th [open courts] means that the charge cannot be disproved -- part of the reasoning about requiring courts to operate openly was so that this situation would never happen.
