Guess the FAA will have to setup authorized drone flight paths and set rules for strobe lights, pilot training, etc. otherwise they are just rogue flights.

Why would it be my fault if someone’s drone wondered into my property’s air space at the moment I was performing perfectly safe and legal model rocketry?

I think the drone owner should compensate me for the lose of my rocket in that event.

SSS
Shoot, shovel, shutup

Smart thing would be to drop the dead bird on the street in holderville, they will have it stripped and pieces sold for crack in no time flat.

No human on earth can tell where one shot came from.

2, 3 or more, maybe.

What if it was mistaken for a marauding hoot owl? Those things are deadly. Or even a chicken hawk, they kill farm animals. Or livestock-snatching falcons. I say the drones need to emit human voices if they don’t want to be mistaken for livestock predators.

Just give them the finger, if you think they are observing you. I know they and black helicopters are circling my house.

If it were to be shot or captured disable any power source and move it to another location. It’s a certainty that there is an RF beacon or that it’s last location is known. There might even be a radiological signature. They’re going to find their drone unless steps are taken.

LOL!!
Whata you think they’d say? “Gubmit property here, don’t shoot”. If its close enough to hear, then we should all remain prepared with blue painted butts and kilts ready to give them a sight for sore eyes.

I’m just saying if my livestock cams pick up something flying above and inspecting them, and my livestock may merely consist of cotton-tailed bunnies and wild ducks, that I’m saving my livestock unless I hear Elmer Fudd or Oliver North’s call from the nuisance birds.

I have some ideas for this...I think the best plan is a guided rocket or possibly a mortar (powered by compressed air if technically possible) that shoots out a strong nylon net to foul the propellers. These things don’t have very powerful motors due to the size/weight problem and this should work.

Y’know, that bit of techno-gibberish always bothered me. After all, a weak light bulb is 40 Watts. Maybe if he says “40 Megajoule” it would be okay. But he didn’t.

Maybe set up a few hay bales covered with tarps featuring the nudes of Oprah, MayaAngeLou, Hillary, or and throw in Barbra streisand and one of the Kardashites.

Worst case the drone gets one pass before they make your site a No-Fly Zone. New twist on bio-warfare.
