Freeper Voter Registration Requirement Question

Posted on 07/27/2013 10:57:48 AM PDT by 56newblog

Your comments please on whether you agree or not on this American Voter Registration procedure.

I consider myself a normal U.S. Citizen (my wife may disagree). Whether I am Caucasian, Hispanic, Asian, African American (This is a term I disagree with since the “entire” Human Race is of African origin). All of the above should be termed “American” regardless of ethnicity.

1. Everyone of voting age and that is a legal US citizen that wishes to participate in voting in public elections, Federal and Local, should have an “authorized” Voter I.D. card.

2. The VID card could be obtained at the Local DMV office. Would only have to be replaced when the Voter has a change of resident Address. (In my case the card would be 34 years old and my picture might be questionable)

3. Each VID card should have the persons

a. Current Physical address of place of residence

b. Picture of Voter AND

c. Thumb Print of Voter.

There is already a system in place throughout ALL 50 states that can register that Thumb Print and complete a verification of the print via more capable computers. This step would not have to be completed at time of voting, BUT can be completed within a 72 hour period to confirm whether “this” print was used more than once for a particular election at the same or different voting locations. (Could also control wrongful voting by those with multiple resident addresses)

My question is WHY WOULD THIS BE CONSIDERED AN INVASION OF PRIVACY OR RESTRICTION of Your Right to Vote??

The Local Governments can make considerations to get those people who cannot get to DMV either because of legitimate economic and/or physical limitations get a VID. This would need to be done only with initial registration and whenever there is a change of address. The ONLY ones I think would have a problem with this are those who have Criminal Intent or those who have been involved with past or present criminal activities. I do not see where a law-abiding citizen would have a problem with leaving a picture and thumb print with government agencies.. Am I missing a “bigger” picture??

If they’re gonna have African-Americans, then there should be White-Americans, Italian-Americans, Polish-Americans, Florida-Americans, Montana-Americans, Kalifornia-Americans, etc.

I have an idea. Every service member gets something called a CAC card. That is their ID.

Would be easy to have a voting program and every service member regardless of where they are stationed can vote online.

Takes out the disenfranchisement of the military vote the Democrats are so fond of.

For everyone else, we all have social security cards. That is our ID. There is no disenfranchisement there, since in order to work, get a passport, drivers license, welfare, unemployment, Obamacare you need a SS card.

First thing first, purge every voter role in the country. Now you can start from scratch. Start the January 1.

If the Rats say no, you shove it down their throats, embarrass them, and do everything Alinsky would suggest the Rats do to Republicans.

Start the fight at the ballot box.

I don’t think the thumbprint works by itself. With a corrupt administration they can either override notifications, or ignore notifications.

Again, SEIU members in charge of voter registration? What could go wrong?

Well I guess you could apply the term racist to me and be pretty accurate. I am rapidly getting to the point where I do hate the human race, all of them; black, brown, yellow, red, pink, white and blue.
I think they are all colored progressive/socialist/communist/union, crybaby whiners who want mama to take care of all of their booboos.
Most people I have met in the last 10 years are worthless pussies, who seem to use the term I hate the most in the english language, “IT’S NOT FAIR”.
