Re your post 53, in which you recount the unpleasant experiences you had in junior high and high school at the hands of black punks and mobs: I was so fortunate as to never have gone to junior high, high school (or college, for that matter) with such “gentlemen,” having grown up in the cracker South.

Oh please, I have been profiled many times because of my "color". I have been BEATEN, repeatedly, by a family of "white boys" because of my ethnicity (couple of jerks). So those people can cry me a river....
I've experienced it, but I am not so narrow minded, so deluded, so full of hate, to allow it to cloud my judgement about this case, and agree wholeheartedly with the verdict.
I've noticed the same thing. White people used to kind of look around furtively and whisper, "Well, I'm not prejudiced or anything, but the guys who held me up at gunpoint, well, they were black. But I'm sure they're not all like that! Again, I'm not prejudiced!!!" Now whites are getting much more outspoken, much more fed up. I think they've simply been pushed too far.
Turns out that white people really dislike being robbed, raped and murdered. Who knew?

My wife is a very polite person. But also very determined when she makes up her mind. She will let any person speak their piece, but when her mind is made up, her mind is made up. As soon as the witless young interviewee pulled out her cell phone, her job prospects were shot. As it should have been. If she had immediately turned off the phone and apologized, she maybe would have gotten a second chance. She compounded her stupidity by answering and gabbing for several minutes. Unbelievable.
I don’t appreciate Obama in the White House, not because of he’s black, but because he’s RED!
I’d love Walter E. Williams or Dr Thomas Sowell to replace him.
I’ve noticed this as well. I think the entire issue of crimes that are committed against whites by blacks and how it’s covered up in the mainstream. That doesn’t change the fact people know the reality of what they see and hear and experience. Whites know what Trayvon Martin was about, and for the news and race hustlers to try and lie about the reality of the situation is maddening. Whites are attacked and killed increasing by blacks yet one case of a person fighting back is an outrage? Please.
This "blackness" that is spoken of - is it a reference to inner-city thug culture perhaps? Methinks that is the case. That's only a recipe for success (such as it is) as a hip-hop performer, and not much else.
Polite to a fault, I’d say. You’re a lucky guy. As I’ve aged, I won’t suffer fools any more. I would have stood up, said “This interview is over. Thank you for your time.” and escorted her to the HR office.
When obama it was obvious that obama would win in 2008 my dentist said he asked an old black man client if he was excited about obama becoming president. The old man said “Hell, no. He ain’t as black as I am.”
