RE: Not in my house!

But what if it boils down to Rubio vs. Hillary?

I love how the liberals are starting g early in deciding who the GOP candidates are. If New Republic is choosing them, you know they are bad.

I figure Rubio’s chances are about the same as me being elected president.

“The perfect is the enemy of the good.” You’re about two years early for that horse-s***.
Besides, we’ge already heard it: from Giuliani, McCain and Romney FR fifth columnists.
New Republic. A pox on Facebook’s boy owner and his new toy: ‘Nearly a century of American liberalism.’

I’d vote for him..I like him...don’t like EVERYTHING he says, but for the most part, he’s right on....

SeekAndFind, isn’t it a little premature? Let’s support a real conservative first in the primary, like Ted Cruz, and see where things go. We don’t have a lesser of two evils choice just yet. Personally, as a Floridian, at this point, there is no way I’d support Rubio, but if I’m looking at a presidential matchup, anything’s possible. I’m also looking forward to supporting any and all conservative opponents in any Senate bid.

As a liberal democrat Rubio should have no problem winning the democratic nomination.

Rubio’s convention speech was filled with Democratic Party platitudes, emotional language, and circular logic. Rubio is just not a conservative. Too bad for Rubio, but it’s a fact and it’s out there for all to see.

They said many conservatives stayed on the side lines during the last election; see what happens should this Fidel protégé get the nomination. His push for illegal amnesty should never be forgotten, as it will destroy the country pure and simple. He’s as much of a traitor as Jane Fonda.

I would prefer option 2 but with the House and/or Senate in conservative hands. Then we get “Gridlock”. Gridlock over RINOism works for me.

As I said before, if it ere Rubio vs Hillary, YOU’LL GET AMNESTY JUST THE SAME. If that one issue is all one cares for, then we’ll get amnesty with liberal judges, Obamacare, higher taxes and the rest...

Well, I wish that could happen... but I believe the coat tails phenomenon applies most often.

You’re correct. If he runs for president, that seat would be open (although the law is a little more lax than Kentucky’s, which recently was talked about with regards to Rand Paul).

This is why I am very excited about the prospect of an Allen West for senate campaign.

Leftist Republicans have a very good chance because of the loose way our nomination process is run.

We even let Democrats help us select our nominee.

The RNC knows this. They don’t give a flying fig about it.

And so I don’t give a flying fig about them.

The Republican party is dead to me.

Yeah... No.

No more RINO’s who flip on Principles for some imaginary political gain.

I’ll go with that.... but there’s the little matter of Section 1 of Article Two of the United States Constitution regarding NATURAL BORN CITIZENS that many FReepers are concerned with.

If this becomes an issue, then Cruz, Rubio and Jindal will have a day of reckoning in these threads.

Either way, many FReepers will still stay home.

RE: Support those corporatist pigs if you wish. I won’t.

As I said before, all we need is more people who think like this and we’ll have another President Clinton in 2016.

Nobody forced Rubio to front amnesty and an unprecented in world history legal migration. Nobody is forcing you to support Rubio and his middle class destroying amnesty, FRiend. Step back and demand those you support perform their sworn duties. Govern as they campaign, etc., etc. It’s that simple. If you continue giving them mulligans they will just keep pushing you.

How about issues besides amnesty. K Street will be pushing single payer big time soon. You ok with that also? So you are ok with the Rubio Amnesty. How about single payer? Is ANYTHING a line in the sand for you? Or are you just a plantation GOP voter to the bitter end?

No I am not. Can you show me a link or a some news that tells us Rubio is for single payer? If so, why is he with Ted Cruz on DEFUNDING Obamacare?

There was really only one issue Rubio could have any influence on. Amnesty and on Amnesty Rubio was horrible, worst the horrible. He lied about the issue to get elected. Then he deliberately lied about the bill to the American people. We know he deliberately lied because he told the truth in Spanish to a Spanish speaking audience. Rubio is not to be trusted, he is a known liar. The one single time he could have taken a conservative position and make a diference he partnered with Shummer and McCain to sell out conservatives. Conservative will NEVER vote for Rubio. I hope he is primaried and loses.
