“Rubio faced the real dilemma of what to do with illegals was right on. “

No, it was 100% deceit! If you had the opportunity to listen/see him on the Hannity TV show, he stated numerous times over the course of an hour that “NO FEDERAL TAX DOLLARS would be used for” xyz with xyz being the currently discussed topic be it food, education, healthcare, housing, transportation...

You had to listen to how he emphasized the word FEDERAL every time he uttered his deceitful statement.

This was 100% typical lawyer/politician deceit as he knew full well ALL of us will be paying for every gimmie, gimmie program for these CRIMINAL TRESPASSERS via our STATE TAX dollars.

I wanted to kick him in the nuts and Hannity for not calling this lying POS out for his deliberate attempt to hide what we are all going to be forced to pay for these criminals.

Once someone lies, they cannot redeem themselves in my book as how on earth can you trust what they say?

I actually bought into his BS and liked his stance until I heard him on Hannity and all his lies, Now he is scum!

"He’s right on on issues that have no chance whatsoever of becoming law or have any chance on having any effect on anything at all."

Exactly correct! Rubio "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing." Rubio is either a fool or he thinks we are idiots.

RE: How about issues besides amnesty. K Street will be pushing single payer big time soon. You ok with that also?

No I am not. Can you show me a link or a some news that tells us Rubio is for single payer? If so, why is he with Ted Cruz on DEFUNDING Obamacare?

I really don’t care what Rubio says now. He’s proven his words mean nothing. I can show you plenty of links were Rubio was strongly against amnesty. Now he authoring an amnesty bill and the biggest increase in legal migration in the history of the planet. That’s the point. Rubio is for sale. His amnesty & migration plan is bad in good times. It’s down right treason in this obama economy.

American citizens are hurting bad now. Rubio’s bill just dumps gasoline on a burning country. Totally unforgivable. I can’t support anybody who would do such a thing.

Re coat tails

You might very well be correct, but if people do like I did in 2008 and vote down ticket but not the top of the ticket (I just could not bring myself to vote for McCain) Gridlock is a real possibility in a Rubio vrs whoever race. Rubio has joined McCain in my mind. No way, no how, could I ever vote for him.

Maybe he can get some more conservatives to campaign for him. He could start with that fellow and bastion of conservatism and co author of the immigration bill, Sen. Charles “Chuck U” Schumer. This is, of course, tongue in cheek. Bottom line...he crossed the bottom line every time he voted down conservative amendments to secure the border fully before one ILLEGAL ALIEN was processed for the new work visa. Walk that one back, Marco!!

LOL! They are calling McRubio a "mainline" conservative. I guess given that Romney believes himself to be a "severe" conservative, the MSM feels justified with setting the definition of conservative to RINO.

"the optimum Republican presidential candidate is a mainline conservative—someone who’s conservative enough for the Tea Party, doesn’t scare away the establishment, and doesn’t alienate either the religious or business wing of the party."

Newsflash for the media. If the GOPe (establishment/elitists) like them, they are not conservative enough for the TEA parties.

Hey MSM, true conservatives don't lie and stab their constituents in the back. That belongs to the RINO party headed by McInsane and Romney and yes, La Raza Rubio belongs right there with them. No conservatives will be voting for any member of their group.

I’m not too concerned with that particular interpretation of the Law (not that I agree with it anyway Cruz meets the defniton by my reading of interpretd Law). If Obama can get to be President, this seems like a silly point anyway.

Not me. It’s clear he got schnookered by McCain and Schumer, which tells me he’s Not Ready for Prime Time when it comes to the office of POTUS.

As a Floridian, I can tell you that he is a backstabbing liar. There is no way you can ever trust him, no matter what his position is, on anything. If you are naive enough to believe in him, there is a bridge in NY ready for you to claim.

Or you can see my tagline for further explanation.

That is assuming Rubio doesn’t get gov~smacked in the primaries by Ted Cruz or Rand Paul.

Well, if it’s Rand Paul, you still have amnesty.

Paul Ryan isn’t that “pure” when it comes to this issue as well.

For some people, either you must have Ted Cruz or they’ll stay home.

"Romney would have ditched the FEDERAL Obamacare."

What in heaven's name leads you to believe that statement is true? Please don't say anything related to "that is what he said," because that human etch-a-sketch can never be relied upon to keep any promise. That backstabbing SOB put gay marriage in motion in this country by ordering Massachusetts to accept it and now claims he had nothing to do with it. So pardon me if I refuse to believe a single that comes out of the mouth of that socialist RINO.

There is no difference between the traitorous socialist wing of the republican party (McCain, Romney, Rubio) and the democrats. If you think there is, take off the wool they've pulled down over your eyes to get a better look.

"Well, if it’s Rand Paul, you still have amnesty.

Rand Paul's position on illegal immigration is very close to that of Ted Cruz's. He is definitely not in favor of amnesty. "No new pathway to citizenship".

“I’d vote for him.””

Voting for Marco Rubio when he is a Presidential candidate makes the person voting for him an accessory to an acto of treason, because Marco Rubio is not a natural born U.S. Citizen and is therefore ineligible to occupy the Office of the President or Vice President. Marco Rubio was born in the United States when his parents were still citizens of Cuba, which made Marco Rubio a natural born citizen of Cuba and a native born citizen of the U.S. if and when he chose to claim the native born U.S. citizenship. Despite claims to the contrary, native born U.S. citizenship is not natural born citizenship and does not qualify a person to meet the Constitutional qualification to serve as President or Vice President of the United States.

Rand Paul’s position is more “nuanced” than Rubio’s, but note what he’s for:

http://reason.com/blog/2013/07/01/rand-paul-defends-principle-of-immigrati

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) may have voted against the Senate’s “Gang of Eight” immigration reform bill last week, but he seemingly does not count himself among the conservative critics of the bill who oppose any and all forms of “amnesty” for illegal immigrants currently living inside the United States.

In an interview with WNDtv, Sen. Paul took on the critics of so-called “amnesty” who oppose efforts to “normalize” illegal immigrants and absorb them into the United States. “Let’s get them work visas, let’s normalize them, let’s make them taxpayers,” he said of the 11 million undocumented immigrants currently residing within the states.

“They’re not going home,” Paul said, adding that even the most vocal opponents of so-called “amnesty” seem to recognize this fact. “Are they for sending these people home? Do they want us to put them in concentration camps, on buses, and send them back home? I don’t think anyone’s proposing that.”

Well, I won't insult you but to me, someone who turns on a dime in such a short period of time (probably meant he was sent to the Senate to do just what he has done), indicates that the man has no core values (remember when "serpent head" said that about Clinton?)

To me Rubio has NO core, at least none that he cares to share with his public.

Seeing as how he gave an interview claiming he would NEVER do what he has done, in spades, then claims to never have made this claim!!!

Naturally a commie outfit like TNR is going to desperately hope a guy like Marco who has not chance of being elected will get the Republican nomination.
