Freep Poll: Which city will be the next Detroit? Why?
August 7, 2013

Which city will be the next to suffer the fate of Detroit (bankruptcy, alarming crime rate, exceptionally low property value, etc.)?

What's your reasoning behind the city you picked?

Philadelphia schools are in financial free fall. I predict they will drag down the whole city, as local government contends with a public that resists any belt tightening.

“Baltimore had several brilliant mayors.”

You make some excellent points. It irritates me that some here on FR take every occasion to blame this place or that for the problems now confronting the country. It shows a dearth in intellect to say for instance “that Colorado has been Californicated.” I usually try to ridicule that individual in some way because it’s counterproductive to point fingers in that manner. Being on the West Coast as we are, having a marvelous climate, and even today an excellent business culture, it’s not surprising that the Pelosi’s and Boxer’s “migrated” here. But it is sad that they brought their “political views” with them because they’ve done a pretty good job of destroying what was once a responsible government. I just hope that there are enough of us left to pick up the pieces when the RATS finally breathe their last in Sacramento.

Saddest part about the sewer project is that the EPA regulations requiring it were enacted over a decade ago. At that time the cities were given years to comply and also the opportunity to receive grant money to assist in the costs. Omaha declined to take the grant money under Daub, Fahey, and Suttle and left it on the backs of the taxpayers and utility customers. I know it is a big bill that is not going away, but there were many missed opportunities to get some help.

Boston only cuz you asked for a city, but let me tell you:

What people don’t realize is a highly sophisticated & organized professional criminal enterprise is lurking in plain sight! Created by dirty lawyers and judges.

These guys make the pervert priest look like an angel!

MERS Group, Rothstein Rosenfeldt Adler, New York based Strickstein Family, Reuben Rashty and others have a big hand in our economic downfall (not only related in business but also via marriages).

If your city has been “Mismanagement” trust me its them.

My research shows them setting their plan in motion around mid 80s and coming full force since 1999 (check your own state records: campaign disclosure, business search from mortgages to loan modifications to real estate to contractors, property records, legal cases you will see it too. A complete circle jerk).

They started incorporating under married, maiden and misspelled names in a variety of front companies in: MA, NJ, NY, FL, DE, MD, TX, CA, IL, MI.

They are 1 stop fraud shop. Their companies filter from 1 to the next, but all the same hands.

Let me show you how a judge gets paid:

The judge forecloses you with prejudice so you can’t come back.

Then he/she uses front men of either family/friends to get money from a “Mortgage” on a property either theirs or one taken.

They create their own Loan Companies to buy/sell/issue Mortgages ie fake money.

Then get real money from lets say their friend Reuben who rocked Fifth Third Bank (he’s now at JPMorgan).

Bank takes the fall and the Mortgage is “Assigned and Discharged” (all write offs)

The judges also get political contribution (write off for both) Campaign Disclosure at your State Website-have a look.

The judges hold fundraisers at their “Clubs” (write off for all)

That example minus the donations/fundraisers applies to anyone else in the “game”.

Billions have put these thugs not only above the law, but also circumventing it!

Rothstein was written about in a book called The Ponzi Book and is still controlling things while being locked up in Federal Prison.

Step up and expose them! Or shut up and get ready for the Depression.
