That’s something, but how disposed would the Senate be towards a conviction?
We couldn’t convict Bubba when we had a Senate majority.
And a conviction would make Joe Biden President, so forget it. We’d just be trading one idiot for another.
Why does O break the law with impunity? because Harry Reid would never Impeach. Why isn’t O in federal prison? Because the AG is his Consigliere.
I think it would be a lot easier to count which 1 or 2 senate republicans who would vote to impeach depending on the charges.
If they impeached they could get discovery and then the whole world could see the criminal enterprise that is in control.
That’s why they won’t impeach. Nobody wants to open that can of worms because the whole government would be exposed as a great big scam.
It’s what we need, though. As long as they are willing to cover each other’s behinds we’ll never get anything but corruption and crime out of this system. As someone once said, “The Taliban is in the building...”
