What a pant load of BS new boy! HE NEVER HAD TO GO THROUGH A NATURALIZATION PROCESS! HE IS A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN BY VIRTUE OF BIRTH.

Go peddle your Bull$hit somewhere else! I suppose all those children born over seas to American diplomats and workers are ineligible for the presidency?

Those children born to US citizens working abroad - which include my own siblings and a cousin - had fathers who were US citizens, not citizens of Cuba.

He is a dual citizen by virtue of being born in a foreign sovereignty to a foreign national father and American mother. Representative John Bingham, the author of the 1st section of the 14th Amendment defined a natural born Citizen as this?

“Every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen.” (Cong. Globe, 39th, 1st Sess., 1291 (1866))

Cruz’s father owed allegiance to Cuba. Cruz was born a U.S. Citizen but not a true Constitutional natural born Citizen eligible for Article 2 Section 1.

Sorry to disappoint you, but Cruz’s father was not a US citizen at the time of Cruz’s birth, thus both of Cruz’s parents were not American citizens as they are expected to be for natural born citizens. Plus the fact that Cruz was not born in the US. Canada’s immigration laws would come into play too. Obama is not a natural born citizen because his father was not an American citizen at the time of his birth. By having a non-citizen parent, the child does not have full allegiance to the US. This is why the framers put this requirement in the Constitution. They wanted full allegiance to America.
