All the Republicans in the House had better vote NO, because I’m all but certain Putin and Assad have plans to sucker the US into bombing targets where chemical gas is already hidden.

Just imagine the number of deaths that will then be blamed on the US for “obama’s war,” sanctioned by the IDIOT GOP House.

Have you noticed that the mooch has been laying low for some time now...has someone stuffed her mouth and tied her down, or is there some other reason......

RE SOL:”Now I know that coblame strategy was very popular here and talk radio from 2004 through 2010 wrt Bush and Dems, that Dems support of Iraq invasion in 2003 after all that solid ‘evidence’ means it was really their fault too, but Obama will still be in a better position to make it work at least partially than GOP was just because of climate.”

Many of you became my friends early 2009 invading ‘miss Bush yet’ threads and we bonded as fellow (called) BDSers.

You may recall the MANY times I went out here alone and said that there was no way to pass blame for what happened in Iraq, completely contrary to their sales pitches, away primarily from Bush, and all the grief I got for it. He orchestrated the sales pitches, his admin set the standard for what was valid intel and invalid intel.

If Obama was to get enough GOP traitors to pass this crap will those same Republicans (Bush-bots) give Obama a pass for everything that goes wrong with this disastrous idea?

Not likely. They will be just like the zombies who support Obama to the end.

Spotlight needs to be put on both Boehner and Cantor to step down. They can’t lead the GOP when they both oppose it so often. They would make fine McCain Democrats, but they are not suitable as GOP leadership. Speaker vote at the beginning of this session was a huge missed opportunity to get rid of the orange drama queen and his sidekick.

Egypt and other news agencies reporting a Chinese war ship crossed the Suez Sunday. The Chinese are saying they are there as an “Observer”.

Looks like China has entered the prep for war....they wouldn’t send a ship at this time just to “Observe”...they are making a statement.

I do not think it matters what happens in the house or senate. The black monkey with the hand grenade has the pin pulled and does not know how to stick it back in. The boy king has to save face on the world stage to remain #1 HNIC of the once most powerful nation on the planet.

The enemies are inside the wire...point your weapons inward...broken arrow....I repeat broken arrow...

>>If Congress says no, and Obama acts on his own anyway, he will be the rogue War Criminal the left always claimed that Bush was. Quite ironic, eh?

Ah, but he has a Nobel Peace Prize. He is a nice man. I’m sure that anything he does is for the greater good. And for the children. Don’t forget, it’s for the children.

I rather seen him back down all alone than waste treasure, risk American lives, and provide (more) support to Moslem savages.

I don't think it'll pass because BOTH the Left and Right politically have a lot of qualms about the whole idea in the first place. And all this reminds me a bit of the movie Wag the Dog, too....

It’s not “Obama” who loses big...

If ONE American boot on the ground dies, that’s who loses big... and the Country loses big, because we’re diminished by one more Patriot - a Patriot who’s worth more to us than ANYONE in this assclowns entire party.

All to protect the _resident’s ego and divert attention away from his miserable failings and whatever other little agenda-driven item he wants to stick us with while we’re distracted...

Benghazi - where Americans were being murdered - wasn’t worth sending help...

But Syria - where NO Americans are in danger, where BOTH sides are not worth helping, and his Imperial highness wants to “air raid villages and bomb women and children” (his words, regarding President Bush).

The hypocrisy of this admin is disgusting, and the sycophantic media is disgusting as well - the SAME media who broadcast daily body counts all throughout our JUSTIFIED operations in Iraq and Afghanistan...

I have thought about that date many times- 9/11 -and why it was chosen by the bozo. Seems profane to consider it IMO! WE WATCHED AS Those TOWERS FELL and our brethern were murdered. He is vile and evil as are his supporters.

We’re being set up for a false-flag event. Hopefully it won’t cost too many lives, but it’s coming. Obama needs a narrative to justify a full scale distraction from his domestic failures disguised as a war.

That is what I am starting to fear as well. If it is proved that Obama’s MB allies were behind Syria gas attack and they knew and/or approved, one can only imagine what he might be willing to do on our own shores.

“At the end of the day, a lot of these Democrats are going to be with the president,” said a House Democratic aide close to the issue. “Because the choice is to vote against [the Syria resolution] and turn the president into a lame duck and destroy his credibility, or swallow it and vote for something that you’re not wild about. When you’re faced with that kind of decision, most of these fence-sitters are going to come aboard.”

Good to know it's nothing but character and good decision-making going on here.

“I remain enormously open,” [Rep. Shelia Jackson Lee (D-Texas)] said.

Sometimes the jokes write themselves.
