I guess he thinks because he went over there and met with kidnapping terrorists he knows better than this Syrian woman? And he looked mockingly at her when she said at least Assad protected the Christians which is the truth.
Elizabeth O’Bagy, who set up his trip and is a rebel supporter and Kerry advisor, said this: “While traveling with some of these Free Syrian Army battalions, I’ve watched them defend Alawi and Christian villages from government forces and extremist groups.” Since when is the Syrian military attacking Alawi or Christian villages? The assertion makes no sense. Assad is Alawi and Syrian Christians have been ethnically cleansed by Syrian rebels, not government troops.

For this woman to have to plead with a senile Senator to listen to the truth and not bomb her country is pitiful.

I can only hope this video gains wide circulation. This shows McCain for the smarmy, condescending ass he is. And the woman’s plea is just desperate and heartbreaking.

I know this may not be a popular opinion, but as much as I detest Obama, can you actually imagine McCain as POTUS?

He would have been the certain end of the republican party.

He would have had us in 20 wars by now. The man is a nutcase.

This is how he treats people in AZ. I’ve seen that scene play out dozens of times.

The crowd did not seem to be on his side. He looked more constipated than normal, so I assume things overall had not been going well prior to this beautiful Syrian lady bitch slapping the old fool.

LOL what an idiot he is. I am surprised she didn’t throw the microphone at him. He should follow Anthony Weiner, quit and get a real job.

I am beginnong to wonder if maybe john mccain is in deep doo doo with the gambling. He frequents casinos and his interest in Syria might be purely monetary. He might owe some very bad people a whole lot of money. He is just too desperate for this to happen. I have never seen anything luke this.
I think he has a gambling problem that has overwhelmed him.

I listened to the video. She makes a lot of good points but its obvious she’s just annoying McCain who’s drank too much of the koolaid to listen to mere mortals, especially when he has his messiah to listen to.

Keating 5— never forget them. Lincoln Savings and Loan.
These people operate differently by different rules.
Admiral’s kid. And known as a “Jonah” in the US Navy. Anecdotal stuff from POW days. He WAS tortured— a lot, and cannot raise his arms more than halfway to parallel with his shoulders. So there is that— debilitating mentally and physically, where compromise is simply easiest than pragmatic.

Hi,Mesta. Always good to see you around here.

Even if McStupid has gambling problems, soemone will cover his tab.

He has been compromised, in my opinion, for many years, ever since the Keating 5 Scandal in 1989, which foreshadowed the savings and loan collapse.

In 1992, he and Kerry would not seek an accouting of our POW/MIAs in Vietnam—we knew we keft behind about 600 prisoners, as the NV wanted reparations from Nixon, and these guys were the bargaining chips.

As a former POW, his actions were inexplicable. Then when he saw his former captor, the NVA colonel, what did he do? He ran up and hugged him?

You hug a person who tortured and killed your friends, your fellow POWs?

I knew then he was turned by them. And he has been a blot on the American GOP scene for 25 years.

He and the non war hero John Kerry are despicable people.

McCain has always been about power and influence, and about helping the Dems.

And he is such a liar, Every six years he goes back to AZ, talks like a conservative, and the folks there re-elect him. He goes back to being a liberal in DC.They fell for it again in 2010.

That the GOP ever ran this guy as President is sufficient proof that Karl Rove should be slapped into the next election cycle.

I voted for Sarah Palin.

Remember McJerk’s famous words in 2008—we have nothing to fear from an Obama presidency!

That is, unless economic bankruptcy and a nuclear war in the MidEast would ruin your day.

Detest this guy...& think he has serious mental issues.
He was on Fox the other night saying how he was looking forward to the town halls to discuss Syria. Bet he cancels the rest he had planned.
This fossil needs to be replaced.

Keating 5— never forget them and interestingly the Syrian lady mentions her support of McCain since the Keating 5. The Lincoln Savings and Loan ripoff.

I get word from a reliable source that McCain is in the pockets of the Military suppliers and weapons manufacturers. I think they are influencing his thinking. This is what Sarah Palin calls crony capitalism. For a refresh, I give part of her historic speech at the Restoring America" Tea Party of America Rally in Indianola, Iowa, on September 3, 2011.

"Yeah, the permanent political class – they’re doing just fine. Ever notice how so many of them arrive in Washington, D.C. of modest means and then miraculously throughout the years they end up becoming very, very wealthy? Well, it’s because they derive power and their wealth from their access to our money – to taxpayer dollars. They use it to bail out their friends on Wall Street and their corporate cronies, and to reward campaign contributors, and to buy votes via earmarks. There is so much waste. And there is a name for this: It’s called corporate crony capitalism. This is not the capitalism of free men and free markets, of innovation and hard work and ethics, of sacrifice and of risk. No, this is the capitalism of connections and government bailouts and handouts, of waste and influence peddling and corporate welfare. This is the crony capitalism that destroyed Europe’s economies. It’s the collusion of big government and big business and big finance to the detriment of all the rest – to the little guys. It’s a slap in the face to our small business owners – the true entrepreneurs, the job creators accounting for 70% of the jobs in America, it’s you who own these small businesses, you’re the economic engine, but you don’t grease the wheels of government power."
