‘Are You Happy?’ Zimmerman Juror Reacts to Detainment on MSNBC
Mediaite ^ | September 10, 2013 | Matt Wilstein

Juror B29, also known as “Maddy,” made her first major television appearance with Al Sharpton Tuesday afternoon since she first revealed her face and spoke to ABC News’ Robin Roberts about her conflicted feelings on the George Zimmerman verdict. Maddy offered her reactions to Zimmerman’s recent detainment in connection with a domestic dispute involving his estranged wife and father-in-law.

After viewing dashcam video of Zimmerman being put in handcuffs by officers, Maddy told Sharpton, “it hurts a lot,” because she keeps going back and thinking “what could I have done” to change the outcome of the trial.

At the same time, she said she sees the futility in rehashing the trial over and over again. “I can’t continue to give George Zimmerman all that power, where he continues and everybody keeps talking about him,” Maddy said. “Let’s talk about what we could do to change to make a difference, to do something. Because that’s what I want to do.”

Maddy, who appeared with her lawyer, insisted that she was not looking for her “15 minutes of fame,” adding, “This is not something you want to be famous about.”

“I’ve always said George Zimmerman, basically George Zimmerman is a murderer,” she said, echoing comments she had made to Robin Roberts. But at this point, she said, “the only person that’s going to deal with it is God.” She said, “As you see his anger, which [his wife] Shellie was expressing that he had anger problems, it’s showing right now. And all we could do is let him fall on his own.”

Asked by Sharpton what she would say to Zimmerman now, Maddy had a simple question. “Are you happy?” she said she would ask him. “Because, I don’t understand how someone could continue to keep a smile...

OK, tool, give back the money they paid you for appearing and agreeing to trash Zimmerman. You sit there with Al "Tawana Brawley" Sharpton, the mega-racebaiter, who ONLY survives by hyping "blacks get nothing", and think you are credible????

Your credibility is about equal to that of Zimmerman's soon-to-be-ex wife, who is looking for cashing out as much as possible.

What about the re-canting of his wife, to the police, about a GUN being used???? LOL

My experience is that most prosecutors are little dicks with Napoleonic complexes.

Just smart enough to act like they know something in a court room and ruin lives indiscriminately but to dumb or lazy to make in the real world.

Too many seem to base their sense of justice on what will best advance their career.

What ever happened to Casey Anthony?

She was found “not guilty” in the same state, but she all but disappeared. Where’s the outrage?

Oh, wait.... all white...

I don’t know who George Zimmerman is, really, but there is absolutely no question that when under the amount of stress and condemnation that he has been it is very difficult to hold it all together. Very difficult.

In post #16 I asked for your evidence of GZ’s “thuggery.”

I was assuming that you don’t accuse people of such things without proof, being an officer of the court and all.

You’ve had an hour now and nary a peep out of you.

You need a continuance or something?

I’ve seen other freepers make similar claims, but no one has explained what facts they are considering.

Everything I have seen of Zimmerman, with all the scrutiny and intense pressure he’s been under, has been above-board. Look at how he conducted himself prior to Trayvon in setting up neighborhood watch, and his open manner in detailing what happened to the police that night and in the subsequent video. I consider the testimony that the Sanford police found him a credible witness.

I was reading about this case right after it happened, before it hit the national media / race baiters.

What do you KNOW about him that others are missing?

The poster in question has retired to the parsing chamber where he will be developing his official position on his own statement, pending a public announcement tomorrow.

Prosecutors...you’re so special and infallible

not in my experience

I value judges higher than prosecutors

Ah yes, but Ham Burger would always concede that the primary interest of the prosecution was in justice. Fat chance of any prosecutor conceding that nowadays.
