Absolutely wonderful. We went to Savannah for a fine steak dinner and some jazz tonight.

Last Tuesday we went to Savannah for a blues jam where Arlene played her violin. She's making contacts down here.

I've been cooking up a storm. I'm making an impression. Three more days of cooking planned. She's documenting all of this on her Facebook page, taking pictures of everything, including me.

More good news. The book should be ready to go in a month or so. Everybody here will hear of it.

I am SO sorry I have not been posting tunes lately.
So much is happening here, and none of it good!

Mr B has been in tremendous pain form a terrible gout flare
that has come back to plague him three times now.
The meds he is on can be dangerous, even in a perfectly
healthy person.

My sweet SIL Noelle collapsed last week with horrible internal pain. After a ton of tests, she had to have an emergency illeostomy (it is like a colostomy, only higher up. She suffers from MS, and it seems the meds have caused her to have ulcerative colitis.

I had scheduled a “thank you to our Vets” ride to surprise
the Vets at Togus Nursing home with a small party, but a lot of our riders have become ill with a nasty upper respiratory bug, so I had to cancel that for now.

It’s been crazy!

My Mom is doing really well. We got a call that my Dad’s headstone is in now. Weather was so yucky last weekend that we decided to see how this weekend looks.

And we were both “approved” for our annual passes to the cemetery. First time we go out there we pick them up. I’ve never tried to get on a military base, so I’m not sure what all I need the first time. I’ll find out.
