America's Suicide - Abandonment of Almighty God's Moral Absolutes
The Ignorant Fishermen.com ^ | 9/13/13 | DJP I.F.

How can America or any society survive when moral relativism and political correctness are embraced and exalted and sound morality is scoffed at and demonized by both political parties? The answer is, “It will not!” Thus, we now see the sad estate of our nation and are witnessing its coming downfall. America as a nation has abandoned Almighty God and our Founding Father's ideals years ago, but with this nation's outright rejection at present of any sound moral principles there is no where left to go but into a perpetual state of lawlessness, anarchy, tyranny and despotism.

With this nation's outright rejection at present of any sound moral principles there is no where left to go but into a perpetual state of lawlessness, anarchy, tyranny and despotism.

Today, many so called "conservatives" and "Christians" are aligning themselves with the fiscal side of conservative, while ignoring, compromising and rejecting its sound moral position (Matt. 6:24, Luke 16:13, Rev. 3:15-22). These godless dreamers are deceiving themselves and are being deceived by the god of this world and his lawless minions. These are only looking at their personal temporal pleasures and are oblivious to the tyranny and lawless consequences they sowing throughout our land (Eph. 2:1-2, 2 Tim. 3:1-7,13; 4:1-4, Jude 1:10). These are by no means stopping the bleeding of our nation's woes by aligning themselves to the moral relativism of the Left; as a matter of fact they are collaborators in feeding and fanning the fires of decadence. These are more than willingly to join in on the abandonment of Almighty God's ordained moral absolutes to seek an acceptance with a decadent nation and her unbridled passions (2 Tim. 3:1-7). These are placing ALL of their trust in the wrong ideal and are accomplices of the demise of our nation, as prophetically predicted by our Founding Fathers.

This nation - due to her abandonment of moral absolutes and soon Rapture of the body of Christ - will finally implode on herself, thus opening the door to the entrance of the Day of the Lord!

Tragically, it will be this complete abandonment of social morals that will be America's final demise. My dear friends we are all ready there! This nation - due to her abandonment of moral absolutes and soon Rapture of the body of Christ - will finally implode on herself, thus opening the door to the entrance of the Day of the Lord (Rev. 6-19). My dear friends, it is absolutely crucial for all individuals to be sure that they personally know the Savior (John 1:12, 3:16-17, 1 John 5:10-13). This world is headed into the final showdown between lawlessness and RIGHTEOUSNESS. Between Lucifer the fallen angelic creature and the ETERNAL GOD and CREATOR of ALL that is in the heavens and the earth (Rev. 16:13-16). My dear friends, the Kingdom of Heaven is TRULY at hand!

Instead of Verse numbers perhaps the author could have put the verses in parenthesis for reference. Don’t feel like looking them up.

“Might be His work is finished here”

I believe that’s true if, by “here”, you mean America. He’s probably had/seen enough of our blasphemy and washed His hands, so to speak.

It is for men and women to see the corruption and repent for their own sins to Christ and be saved from this immoral generation.

For there is salvation in no other name and none other than Christ that is able to save so absolutely from such wickedness.

As for America and the other nations that have plunged themselves into abominations; the sign of Sodom and Gomorrah is given.

The author of the article makes the assumption that the collapse of morality and the casting off of Biblical absolutes, coupled with the Rapture of the Church, will completely destroy the nation.

It may.

But I find it, oh, what's the word, arrogant, or maybe presumptuous, to say that the Rapture will occur in our life time, or even occur at all as mainline Christians believe it will. It's teachings are so obscure that we do not entirely understand it's concept. Don't get me wrong, I believe in the Rapture of Church. I'm just not convinced it will happen when and how we believe it will. But I digress.

1. I'm sure the Christians that are being persecuted in China would have loved for the Rapture to have occurred in their life times, but it didn't.

2. I'm sure the Christians persecuted in Germany occupied lands would have loved for the Rapture to have occurred in their life times, but it didn't.

3. I'm sure Christians during the Dark Ages, when the Roman Catholic Church's Inquisition was going on, would have loved for the Rapture to have during their life times. It did not. (And yes Roman Catholics, your church did persecute real Christians, and still does)

What makes the Christian in the USA so special to say that the Rapture will occur in our life times? Will we be saved from the coming persecution, when Christians in other ages and societies were not?

Dare we be that arrogant? Persecution is coming, get ready for it. Only God knows when the Lord Jesus will be sent to gather His bride.

I think that the great secret of moral absolutes is that violating them does not generally solicit the wrath of heaven, because it does not need to.

That is, when a parent tells their child not to touch a hot stove, and they do anyway, the resulting burned fingers are not punishment from the parent, but the natural consequence of that particular disobedience.

If you examine moral absolutes as “safety rules”, instead of enigmatic dictates, the question becomes one of understanding the consequences, short, medium, and long term, of their violation.

Importantly, these consequences may not be easily understood, as we do not define what they are. For example, the German “Higher Critics” made the erroneous assumption that pork was forbidden to Hebrews because it contained the roundworm that causes trichinosis. And while that disease could indeed be punitive, it was not the real reason for the prohibition.

So while we might indeed question and ponder what punishments come from violating moral absolutes, we can never be certain how we harm ourselves by violating them. All the more reason to not violate them.

At the same time, we can observe what happens to those who do violate them, object lessons whose consequences may be immediate, long-term, or even take generations to fulfill.

In the decisions Engle vs. Vitale in 1962 and Abington School district vs. Schempp in 1963, God was thrown out of the public schools and the public square.

Has the country gone uphill or downhill ever since?

Think about it.

>>But I find it, oh, what's the word, arrogant, or maybe presumptuous, to say that the Rapture will occur in our life time,<<

I don’t think understanding prophesy is either arrogant or presumptuous.

>>I'm sure the Christians that are being persecuted in China would have loved for the Rapture to have occurred in their life times,<<

The rapture occurs to keep Christians from experiencing the wrath of God that will come on this world. What other Christians have suffered through is not the wrath of God but is the attacks of Satan. The wrath of God on this entire world is yet to come and the believers will not experience it. Never have faithful believers experienced the wrath of God.

>>What makes the Christian in the USA so special to say that the Rapture will occur in our life times?<<

It’s not that they are “so special” and the rapture will include all true believers regardless of where in the world they are. The rapture is not the result of anyone being “special” but of God’s prophetic timing.

>>Will we be saved from the coming persecution, when Christians in other ages and societies were not?<<

Yes we will. And it’s not “persecution” but the wrath of God against an unbelieving world. As it was in Noah’s day. The faithful were not subjected to the wrath and destruction.

>>Persecution is coming, get ready for it.<<

No doubt persecution is coming as Satan will ramp up his attempts to hurt and deceive believers but once God says “it’s time” the true believers will be “caught away” after which this world will experience the wrath of God.

The Pope will not help, with his recent statement about conscience. Perhaps even he is being overtaken.

I don’t think understanding prophesy is either arrogant or presumptuous.

That's not what I said.

Never have faithful believers experienced the wrath of God.

We have the ability to look backwards and know the difference. Past generations of those who were persecuted did not have the advantage of knowing the difference.

It’s not that they are “so special” and the rapture will include all true believers regardless of where in the world they are. The rapture is not the result of anyone being “special” but of God’s prophetic timing.

But yet the Church in America seems to think that it will be "rescued" by the Rapture. We tend to make it all about us. Christians in most other countries have never heard of the Rapture.

And it’s not “persecution” but the wrath of God against an unbelieving world. As it was in Noah’s day. The faithful were not subjected to the wrath and destruction.

Again, I ask, how do we know if these days area indeed "as it was in Noah's day?" I'm sure most of the church said the same thing about the days before Hitler and the 3rd Reich. Yet it was not the end of days.

How can we be be sure we are near the end of days now?

...”He’s probably had/seen enough of our blasphemy and washed His hands, so to speak”...

Not yet...are none of us would be alive. Only by His Mercy do we still continue...until all are where they need to be.

BTW..I’ve noted a tilt in the Christian Community these past years, pretty distinct...much of the work now is “rescuing” Christians who’ve been deceived and having walked off the path ...caught in thickets of counterfeit Christianity....and against those who are deceiving them.

Remember when Moses was ready to give the people the commandments.....there was a point where the dividing line was drawn for those who were for and those against. It was distinctive line and nothing confusing about it.

I think that is where we are today....the line is being drawn....evil is being exposed for what it is and Christians have to choose to remain with the deception they are under... or step back over the line where they belonged in the first place....before God draws the curtain down and says it’s closing time.

>>We have the ability to look backwards and know the difference.<<

I was talking about in scripture. No where in scripture does God ever subject faithful believers to His wrath.

>>Past generations of those who were persecuted did not have the advantage of knowing the difference.<<

They all had the same scripture we do.

>>But yet the Church in America seems to think that it will be "rescued" by the Rapture. <<

It’s in scripture. It won’t be just those in America. All faithful believes will be caught up. If people would just study scripture rather than listen to man.

>>Again, I ask, how do we know if these days area indeed "as it was in Noah's day?"<<

Scripture tells us what to look for.

>>I'm sure most of the church said the same thing about the days before Hitler and the 3rd Reich. Yet it was not the end of days.<<

Israel had not reformed as a nation then yet. There would have been no way for the entire world to witness the events surrounding the two witnesses. There would have been no way to control the food supply for the entire population of the world. There were many other things that were not in place until today like the right nations forming alliances etc.

>>How can we be be sure we are near the end of days now?<<

Israel as a nation once again with all the nations surrounding her in line with Biblical prophesy. Technology allows for much of what people would have never understood before. The current situation in the middle east is right out of prophesy.

...........................................................

I agree with you 100%. America is under God's judgment, prophesy is being fulfilled exponentially, and yet the Body of Christ will occupy until HE comes. Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus.
