Black-mob violence and black-on-white crime has not destroyed the entire American Tobacco Trail, only the small chunk that goes through Durham, N.C.
The “high crime” part. The gang-infested part. The poor part. The urban part. The sketchy part. The part that local media calls every name imaginable except one: The black part.
Otherwise, most of the 22.5 miles of this trail is a safe, sometimes bucolic experience for runners, bikers, strollers and even equestrians. As long as they stay away from the trail near Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway.
Since 2011, dozens of people have been beaten, robbed, pushed off bikes and threatened in that part of the trail. All of the suspects in this violence and mayhem are black.
Though most of the time the local media is loathe to say so. In the most recent assault, WRAL-TV described one of the assailants as having a “dark complexion.”

And in every city, in the most savage crime-ridden parts of the urban kralls, an MLK runs right through it.

Permitted or not (depending on where I’ve lived), I’ve carried for almost 25 years. And I’d still rather be alive to fight another day, than dead because I followed some bullshit feel-good gun-free law enacted to allow the savages to target me or mine.

It’s WND, they are routinely frank in their reporting of the black-on-white crime epidemic. One of their columnists, Colin Flaherty, wrote the book “White Girl Bleed A Lot” about black-on-white violence.

Rode the Tobacco Trail quite often from the New Hill trail head (other end). Nice enjoyable country ride... well, for about 10, maybe 12 miles.
because many northeastern liberal loons moved to those areas some time ago as did their homosexuals.
we’ve said the same here, every time no matter what city you go to has a MLK and it’s always a dump.
