Why yes, President Clinton, that’s absolutely true — thank you for fulfilling your role as “Secretary of Explaining Stuff” so thoroughly and describing the matter so clearly and in a way that even young people can surely understand. Via the WFB:

Marking the beginning of another concerted campaign from the administration to educate and persuade young people in particular about the ostensible merits and benefits of the law, President Obama and President Clinton took to the stage together on Tuesday to talk the whole thing out. I’m still a little confused about the supposed health-insurance monopolies dominating the insurance market that he describes at the beginning, but I digress — the point, as ever, is that ObamaCare was specifically designed to coerce young people into an unduly expensive system and has them pay the costs for coverage that they disproportionately will not need to use. The HHS study I think he’s citing in the middle there with the “100 bucks a month or so” is deliberately misleading, and unfortunately for the Obama administration, a lot of young people currently on the financial ropes because of their policies perpetuating a stagnating economy stand to save a lot of money by simply paying the penalty rather than actually taking out health insurance. Ruh roh.

The regime will just find a way to make the penalties more intrusive than the enrollment....bank on it.
Exactly....young people are the ones getting crushed the most in this economy....no full time jobs for them thanks to Obamacare, not to mention exploding student loans. No wonder obamacare had in it a provision allowing them to stay on their parents health coverage.
Make sure they don’t.
I long ago gave up on turning this Millennial crowd towards Conservatism.
But you know....an IRS agent in their face barking at them every day might just about do it.
It is going to be funny when the IRS starts to get after them. They will be easy to find because they are still living with the parents or have moved back because their hours have been cut due to the very law that they loved.
The obvious solution is to get those death panels fired up to deal with all those old people with pre-existing conditions.The socialist solution is always death.
How are these young people, crippled with school loans and no jobs, supposed to show up? In the cars they can’t afford? Are they supposed to leave their parent’s homes and catch the bus? ‘Cause they can’t afford to pay for their own living spaces with no jobs and huge Obamacare bills.

Any underwriter will tell you the same thing. If you are going to pay claims on high risk individuals, you need a whole lot of low risk insureds mixed into the pool. The plan behind Obamacare was essentially to shove all the low risk young people (who are presently uninsured or under-insured) into the pool and make them pay slightly higher rates to offset the costly claims of the sick and elderly. It has been an utter failure for any number of reasons, but that was their intent in all of this.
"Listen, we can't pay for old people's health care unless you guys who don't get sick pay all the bills." Sure, that ought to win them over.

Unfortunately, all of our young people are suffering from untreatable STDs due to the likes of Bill Clinton shamelessly flaunting his promiscuity as OK.
We tried to remove our nearly 22 year old from our health plan this month. No dice. He MUST remain on the plan until he’s 26, she said. Even if he is married, out of the house with his own family and his own health coverage. WHAT? Really? *sigh*

Half of them seem to be on lifetime "disability" for ADHD, PTSD, obesity or things like that. They of course will all get free Obamacare, at our expense... and will be thrilled and continue to vote Dem as a result.
