They were saying it in early 2010. Then doubled down after the 2010 gains on the Right.

How about (f) The elite Ruling Class of both parties in Washington is conspiring against it and sent the IRS to destroy it.

The MSM doesn’t understand the Tea Party. They do not know what it is. They think in therms of a “Party”. It is a collective of conservative minded people that are pissed about loosing their liberty. They can’t figure out this collective on their terms which is just have a poll. Polls are meaningless. The Tea Party’s strength lies in the grass root collective that can rise up in great numbers when the time is right. (Read: 2014)

Apathy and laziness

American conservatives would rather stay home and bitch and moan than get off their lazy butts and hit the streets. They prefer to be nice rather than actively denounce their neighbors, friends and relatives for their liberalism.

Why demonstrate in the streets when you can pray and make God do the work?

Correct. The question “what’s wrong with THE Tea Party?” implies the conservative movement is a monolithic political party. A movement is not a political party. The underlying impetus for the “Tea Party” was, and is, “taxed enough already”! (Reign in the spending and the resulting size and soft tyranny of the federal government.)

It would be akin to labeling a group of citizens who are anti-capitalist progressives, who favor Redistribution And Taxation, “The R.A.T. Party” and acting like they are a political party.

So it’s the Teas vs the Rats in sudden death overtime.

The Dims continue to play out of their golden standard Alinsky playbook.

RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)

They're telling us who they are afraid of!

The poll shows no such thing. This is pure liberal agitprop.

http://www.gallup.com/poll/164648/tea-party-support-dwindles-near-record-low.aspx?utm_source=WWW&utm_medium=csm&utm_campaign=syndication

See for yourself. Keep in mind that the poll’s margin of error is +-3%. That means that The numbers could be flipped 25 support 24 don’t.

Furthermore, it’s a mostly weekend poll of all adults, not Likely Voters - the key constituency for polls.

Spot on. It’s a movement that the entire Obama governmental apparatus has been working overtime to destroy or paint as racist noobs.

I like how this article throws in a couple of statements (assuming the statements are even accurate—the MSM has never screwed that up, have they?) and then can draw a complete “understanding” and conclusion.

We’ve witnessed decades of intentional and “in your face” bias from these whorespondents...and yet we are to believe somehow this article is truthful, has no subtle intent? LOL! The MSM is working for you! You should believe them! LOL

What’s wrong wit the TEA Party?

They won’t sit down and shut up like the collectivists (Dems and Pubbies) want them to do.

Right on.

The Tea party is not struggling we are fighting.
And we are winning, ask those two in Colorado who just got their azz handed to them.

RINO’s better wake up or find themselves having to live like the rest of us and not like the Kings they think they are.

TEA, like Texas, is a state of mind, not a pedigree or classification.

Lois Lerner taught TEA to keep quiet and strike when the iron’s hot - election day. RATS and RINOs can’t predict TEA because they can’t really poll it.

TEA is the ultimate drive-by, and all our enemies are correct to be shaking in their shoes.
