On Thursday, the Pisgah Inn, which holds a concession on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Asheville, North Carolina, announced that it would defy the National Park Services order to close up, and would open doors for business on Friday. On Friday morning, NPS rangers showed up, lights swirling, to close down the business and turn away its customers, supposedly thanks to the government shutdown.
Pisgah Inn receives no federal money, and according to owner Bruce OConnell, who spoke exclusively to Breitbart News, All we do is pay the government money. We dont take anything from them. It is located on the Blue Ridge Parkway, which was deemed a thoroughway and therefore left open by the National Parks Service. Nonetheless, earlier this week, the NPS moved to shut it down. Michael Litterst, chief spokesman for the Park Service, said, We do not believe it is appropriate or feasible to have some parts of the system open while others are closed to the public.

FR had this up almost an hour before Twichy.
I'm a little late in seeing your comment, but it has been my observations and experiences that have told me for decades that the supporters of corrupt POS pols support them because they are like-minded. Same malevolent spirit. Same need for manipulation and control.
The stench has been enough to have already awakened the truly braindead among them. Those championing the obamanation are a dangerous bunch. They want tyranny and obamacare for you, so that you will die [without their own hands getting messy].
Nice. Biden needs a Smoky Bear hat. And Obama could wear the beanie with propeller this time.
That’s a reminder to avoid the socialist stupidity of buying or leasing any building or business on government land.
Spending money on government services or government-dependent services generates revenues and recirculating debt to those trying to control you. Boycott!
“Only proven-loyal teams of agents were used to arrest the handful of well-known people on the list.”
The park rangers.
We will be in that area from South Texas in about 4 days. We will have to pay a visit and have a lil conversation with the ticket maids on duty.
Might get interesting with the atitude of the crowd I will be with
What we call our America today is a far cry from what the Founders vision of their America was supposed to become. Of that I am positive!
Anyone not familiar with the beauty of the area that the Pisgah Inn is located should check out the ‘music videos’ posted on their Facebook page...don’t need an account to watch.
in a similar fashion, the Nazi's were able to mobilize their military and the police to attack Jews and Gypsies and Catholics,etc.....everyone is afraid to stand up to the monster govt....
it just takes little steps...like calling in sick, or getting a flat tire or driving to the wrong location....
that's all it would take....
yet we have these gestapo park officies....PARK officers doing this....
I favor the National parks being the property of the States....there is no reason mr. dumbo should have any power in them at all...they BELONG to the people...
“Michael Litterst”
Remember that name, folks.
Since I disagree with the owners of Facebook in probably every facet imaginable, I don’t visit their website under any conditions.
I unintentionally clicked post too early. I meant to add this URL to my previous post.

Legal filing that got the Inn opened.
You mean like GM and private dealerships, the health insurance industry, the lending industry, hospitals, doctors, commercial fishermen, farmers etc?
It’s a sad joke. As the pastor of the church I visited this evening said, America is now the prettiest mule in the glue factory.
