Limbaugh: It Feels Like We've Lost A War To A Communist Country
Real Clear Politics ^ | 10/16/13 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 10/16/2013 10:07:32 AM PDT by Nachum

RUSH: I want to go back to the lady on the phone who says this doesn’t feel right. What’s happening here to the country just doesn’t feel right. You know what’s happened here? You know what this feels like, folks? I’ll tell you exactly what it feels like to me. You tell me if this isn’t close. It feels like we’ve lost a war to a communist country. It’s almost like there’s been a coup. There’s been a peaceful coup. The media has led this coup, and the Democrats have taken over with popular support. We’re getting policies and implementations and things that were never, ever part of this country’s design and founding. (via Daily Rushbo)

If Texans really are going to do anything, then why not just go and do it already? Like what are you waiting for?>>

Who are you to say I’m waiting for anything? I knew this was coming. I am exasperated it took this long. I can’t wait for everything to come crashing down so we can rise from the ashes and rebuild this country. Texas has stood in the forefront for years warning the Feds about messing with us. We’ve been scolded, shamed, ridiculed, and ordered to sit down and shut up because they all knew how to do it better. But where would ANY of you guys be without Texas’ money?

Bring on the accusations and put-downs. I’ve got on my big girl panties.

I think Texas has control over our own power grid.

You forgot all this new media (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, etc. etc. etc.) Young people live there and the Obamaites have absolutely captured it.

The USSR may have dissolved but the communists didn’t. They learned it was better to take us from within. They must be shocked they did it so quickly, underestimating America’s “useful idiots”.

It didn't happen quickly. It took nearly 50 years, from the early 1960s to now. One of the great ironies of the Cold War was our nation's effective battle against the Soviet Union on one hand while blindly overlooking and the internal Communization of the U.S.A. Most Americans paid no attention as the Marxists began their Long March through our institutions: schools, universities, the media, courts, labor unions, churches, local, state and federal government bureaucracies, etc. We now must pay the price for our inattention.

They proudly called themselves “United Empire Loyalists”. Gag!

"Canadians" does have a much nicer ring to it.

You forgot all this new media..

Good point. I was hoping other people would pile on and identify additional fronts, factors, tactics, etc.

Remember, Texas will not be by itself out there. As the lyrics of “The Bonnie Blue Flag” say “First came South Carolina who nobly took a stand, next came Alabama and took her by the hand”

Thanks for the ping... it does feel like we’re becoming a totalitarian state - that’s really spooky stuff.

We need more states than just Texas... Dems are targeting Texas with millions of new illegals... we need backup states.

Ok...why wait? There seems to be lots of big talk in parts of the nation about seceding, but it is nothing but bluster from frustrated people.

Scotland, Wales and Quebec have been more serious than Texas, and frankly either you guys should just do it or stop with the posturing, because no one in DC is quaking in their boots at the idea that you will maybe think about at some point, if it gets really bad.

We get it. Texas was a nation for 10 years 170 years ago, and you guys didnt really care for it all that much. If it is the general desire there to be one again, then dont wait for the U.S. to fall completely apart to do it.

Collapse is coming

Not for 50 years or so. We can play this economic doldrum game for a long time before the government stops sending out checks.

The tea party movement has just begun to fight.

Thank you! All this acceptance, this we can't fight our fate crap is getting on my nerves. If we really fight we can win but we've let them beat us down to the point it's hard to rally resistance.

You're right, the fight has just begun.

The budget baseline has shifted permanently. We will be racking up $1 trillion debts annually. 50 years seems very optimistic.

Yep, I agree. The Soviet Union staggered along for 70 years, and they started out with a helluva lot less wealth they could confiscate.

50 years may be optimistic. Don’t expect it in my lifetime in any event.

Also in 1963, J Edgar Hoover published a book called “Masters of Deceit, The Communist party in America”.
I have read and reread this book.
It accurately describes the actions of the current Democrat party over the last 20 years.

Also the CPUSA has run a candidate for President for many elections. In 2008, they didn’t run a candidate because Obama was a mirror image of their platform.
They didn’t run a candidate in 2012 either for the same reason.

Good attitude, we can not solve any problems by electing more Obamacrats.
