When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back!
Get mad!
I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these?
Demand to see life's manager.
Make life rue the day it thought it could give Kc_Lion lemons. Do you know who I am?
I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down!
With the lemons.
I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!
Hey, she's an Alaskan. They make do with whatever citrus products they can get :-)
Has she ever taken a ‘bad’ pic? If so, I’ve yet to see it.
Well, it’s not that the evil photographers haven’t tried!
She’s just too beautiful and her beauty comes from the inside.
God bless and keep her.
The hangover of dealing with Obama - whatever - is going to make all the hangovers, from whatever source in your whole entire life, seem like nothing.
The real problem, imo, is widespread ignorance of the federal government's constitutionally limited powers among voters.Agreed.
There was a reason the founders originally limited voting to property owners --- they were the only ones with "skin in the game".
Once you allow non-producers control over the federal treasury via the ballot box, the whole system begins to collapse.
10 gallons is a lot. I think I’ll start an additional batch this weekend. :-)
Right after I was fired from the Frontiersman! In any case, I really don’t miss working in the print media, which was dying when I left the business in the middle 1990s. Still, it’s interesting to see Heather’s name here on FR.
Please note that, regardless that the following questions are admittedly blunt, I'm not trying to be insultive.
To begin with, are you aware of the federal government's constitutionally limited powers? Or were you taught only certain parts of the Constitution, such as the Bill of Rights, like so many other patriots?
Next, regardless what activist justices want everybody to believe about the constitutionality of unconstitutional Obamacare, are you aware that the states have never delegated to Congress, via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate, tax and spend for public healthcare purposes? Or does that question possibly confuse you?
Completing the circle concerning Sarah Palin and her frivolous critique of Obama's limited knowledge of economics, why aren't patriots like Palin, or celebrity conservatives like O'Reilly and Limbaugh, or so-called conservative federal lawmakers like Harvard Law School-indoctrinated Cruz, not making any attempt to point out that the states have never delegated to Congress the specific power to regulate healthcare and that the Supreme Court decided Obamacare wrongly in Obama's favor?
Finally, Judge Andrew Napolitano is the only celebrity conservative that I know of who has pointed out that healthcare is not mentioned in Congress's Article I, Section 8-limited powers, Congress therefore having no constitutional authority to make public healthcare legislation of any kind.
Judge Napolitano & the Constitution
Ah, you know Heather!
Payton is Mollys son not Heathers.
It’s basically a small slightly sour orange .. the skin has almost no “pith” layer (like a juice orange) so you just pop them in and eat all including the rind.
Where are you? I'm in the Philippines, and they aren't orange, they're green and very seedy...
Tanduay is the Philippines largest rum distiller. They market a few ready-made cocktails, all using their rum. The Margarita is pretty good, and they accent it with a good flavoring of Triple Sec. I like their Mojito better, but I add Tequila to the Margarita and white rum to the Mojito. I squeeze a lime into both!!!
>>>Ah, you know Heather!<<<
Not really. I was fired from the paper in 1995 (along with most of the staff), and she was one of the crew that replaced us. It was a fun little newspaper for a while, even a little conservative at times. Then we were bought out, the staff was cleaned out, and the newbies arrived. The sad part is that these actions are the ones that are killing the print media - that is, the idea that reporters and editors are interchangeable cogs, like fry cooks at McDonald’s, instead of being long-term residents of the community they serve. I do miss interviewing interesting people and learning new things... but the liberal bias and unrelenting pressure I can do without.
Thank you so much for telling me the history. I truly appreciate learning the details.
God bless and keep you.
The only problem with the title of this thread is that margaritas made with lemons taste awful. Margaritas are made with limes. Maybe a “Bonehead Slammer” or a “Broken Nose” would have been more appropriate.
Or as Ron White says, “I believe that if life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade. And try to find somebody whose life has given them vodka, and have a party.”
I think that might be a Tom Collins.
