An almost unfathomable gap divides public attitudes on basic issues involving gender, race, religion and politics in America, fueled by dramatic ideological and partisan divisions that offer the prospect of more of the bitter political battles that played out in Washington this month.

TOPICS: Culture/Society; Extended News; Government; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: gaps; polls; split
This is what Obama has done to divide the country.

• Forty-one percent overall think nonwhites have fewer opportunities than whites in society. Fifty-six percent of Democrats say so, as do 62 percent of liberal Democrats (more than the number of nonwhites themselves who say so, 51 percent). Among Republicans that dives to 25 percent.

• Just 23 percent overall say it would be a good thing if more nonwhites were elected to Congress; 73 percent instead say it makes no difference to them. Seeing this as a good thing peaks at 50 percent among liberal Democrats (far more, in this case, than the number of nonwhites themselves who say so, 29 percent). Among conservative Republicans, it’s 5 percent.

• Thirty-nine percent of adults say they trust the government in Washington to do what’s right; six in 10 don’t. Apparently reflecting views of the Obama administration, trust peaks at 62 percent of Democrats, as many liberals and 69 percent of liberal Democrats. Just a quarter of Republicans and conservatives, and 18 percent of conservative Republicans, feel the same.

... and there's more

In other words, Fearless Leader’s brazen Alinsky tactics have been wildly successful.

"...Alinsky tactics have been wildly successful."

He's followed the play book by the letter.

Alinsky was not perfect. His tactics are not flawless. The reason why his strategy has been successful up to now is because of the propaganda put forth by the MSM and the government's willingness to print money.

When ObamaCare goes into overdrive in the next few months, All of Alinsky's horses, and all of Alinsky's men can't save Obama and his minions.

I just want to sit back and watch the rioting from a safe distance.

Yet more evidence this country is going to have to sever into at least two entities if any part of it is to survive. It’s broken.. badly.. and it isn’t going to be fixed.

Hopefully, something good will come of this someday. But, it’s for certain that America has been changed forever. I hold the media responsible more than any single person or event.

These things do not happen over night. They have expanded in a larger degree over the past 30 some years in my opinion. We were a much more homogenous society tied to the roots of individual freedoms brought here by the fore fathers centuries ago. However the demographic changes are rapid and many know live here in this country from parts of the world where they are use to the ideas of the collective for results, not the individual. It astonishes me that Americans do not look in the mirror for help but to others and their governments for every little thing. It will be very hard yo sell Liberty in the coming years. It will take a severe collapse of the present system.

I heard this same baloney back in the 60s and 70s. And then came Ronald Reagan winning twice. This study is nothing more than a rollout for a television network. The liberals are experiencing an extreme case of reality discomfiture. Things they thought were true are turning to crap. So, they’re trying to ignore it and comfort themselves with foolish polls. The truth is the truth.

A new ABC News/Fusion poll, marking the launch of the Fusion television network

Fusion is the new Hispanic activist network. The whole point of the poll is to scare the GOP and force them to compromise on comprehensive immigration reform and other Hispanic agenda items. The very questions polled indicate what their agenda is.

So why are we bringing in 1.2 million LEGAL immigrants?
