It’s now called the XT22TR.
Marlin XT-22TSR
Thanks for the update. ;)
230 grain FMJ
OK maybe I am exaggerating, but 45 ACP drops like a rock.

Are those even legal anymore? I remember poping them with my thumbnail.
That is real bad thinking. Something/someone “turned” him, I’m guessing. I just can’t imagine him going ‘bad’ at the end of his career. Gives me the creeps.
Geez, thanks all. I need to find the rifle before the new year when CA’s new law will require all long guns to be registered like handguns.
I think I’ll get the rifle and maybe a Ruger Bearcat. It’s pretty small and would be easy to sight with.
“With a 230 grain at 850 fps, looks like if you’re zeroed at 25 yds, at 50 yds it’s 1.9 in. low, at 75 yds it’s 6.8 in. low, and at 100 yds it’s 14.8 in. low. This is all approx. and is according to Federal.”
This would mesh with my empirical testing
Makes you wonder.
Anyone interested in a drop in side charging handle for an AR?

I got one a few days ago and so far it works very well. It just replaces the standard charging handle.
When I was a kid, I remember taking a roll of the old style, flattening it out, then laying the whole roll on the sidewalk and pounding on it with a hammer. Kablooey!
Seriously look at those CZs
I have seen CZ rifles in the $250 range.
Really nice rifles
The Henry Goldenboy is kinda pricey at $400 but heirloom quality

Huh, does that make it left-handed?
G’night folks. Have a great week.
I think it is a great idea, but that sure is pricey.
These are great and I wish I had ordered 3

No, you still charge with your left hand and it makes locking the bolt back much easier.
ME TOO!!! Nothing like gunpowder for kids!
That pic has the caps we used in “Wasp” cap guns...those were serious loud but expensive to shoot. Those were the Cadillac of cap guns. I’m very surprised they still make them.
I can tell you that a side charging handle is a boon if the action gets locked up.
hook the charging handle on the side of a table and whump the stock.
leverage is your friend.
My numbers for 45 ACPs are nowhere near that bad. Neither for my Colt Trooper 6” MK III .357mag or my Glock .357 SIG.
