Clearly Ken and the Tea Party have fough the good fight, finished the race, and keep the faith.
Part of the reason for their defeat is Big Brown Messes created by Rinos and Demon Rats.

Just watched Ken’s concession speech. My heart is broken and I am soooo angry at the GOP and Karl Rove.
Warner is seen as a moderate. He carefully cultivates that image. Simple as that.
Well, the Republican Party was around before the Civil War. It's first candidate was John C Fremont

I’d say the problem started earlier, when it became clear the sitting governor had taken bribes, and Cuccinelli refused to condemn him. Made him look crooked too.
From that point, it was lost. Had the Dems selected a halfway decent candidate we would have gotten killed even worse.
This was an off-year election, with low turnout. Everything that’s supposed to point our way. If we’re losing even those elections now, Virginia is lost to us. That’s a major state we can’t spare.
With their money and dirty tricks THEY WON and they have been winning, and they will keep winning. People will vote for free stuff, abortion, gay marriage and amnesty.
I don’t agree it’s a huge win for Dems. Cuccinelli didn’t start associating McAuliffe with Obamacare until a couple of weeks ago. And when he did, he knocked 6 pts off McAuliffe’s lead.
They barely eked out a win at all, no big win.
