I couldn’t agree more. McAuliffe will make the Daley family look clean by comparison.

That presupposed strict party-line voting. Not saying you’re wrong.

Roger that! There were alot of cards stacked to help them in this race, not the least of which is a third of the state is in DC’s orbit. It will not be like that everywhere.

My guess is Rove thought Cuccinelli was a lost cause. These polls were all off. You have to wonder if Rove was basing it on those polls.

Yeah, not enough votes left for the rat to catch up.

There should be enough will on the Right to make it happen.

This was not a blowout for the Dems. The fake Libertarian got 6% which helped McAwful win. And an Obama bundler gave him Campaign money!

Ken Cuccinelli got 1% less but won more counties but the Dem got the big cities, Fairfax county and a area filled with big government employees!.

And the Dems used a robo call saying that Ken C. supported Obamacare. Their dirty tricks are disgusting! But take heart! More lies on ZeroCare will give us a good chance of taking the Senate in 2014!

Remember: “Never, never, never, ever give up!”.......Winston Churchill

Rove roots against conservatives and the TEA Party and is happy when conservatives lose. His PAC pumps money to the RINOs

Makes ya really wonder how many of those donors are also huge DEM donors as well. The end result is the one party system we see today.

He can do one if he pays for it. The state covers the cost when the difference is .5% or less.

aren’t there absentee voters like military yet to be counted?

Do you mean like the military ballots that "got lost"/"magically fell out of the plane over international waters"/"didn't arrive in time" for the last two elections that never got counted?

I know .. right?

Yes, what you say is true. Warner is seen as a moderate, despite a voting record that proves he is a reliable liberal. That deception, aided by the media of course, has helped him win when Virginia was still a center-right state.

With changing demographics, though, Warner won’t have to pretend much longer.

"I'd say the problem started earlier….."

You're right. The sitting governor was a huge disappointment. He was lining the business interest's pockets left and right, and in particular, developers.

But Cuccunelli actually could have won this thing had he understood how to be a street fighter.

Look at the county by county results and it is plain to see that Sarvis took way higher percentages in counties won by Cuccinelli. It’s speculation of course but informed speculation.

McPunk money wins. The DNC, Obamacare and the Commonwealth of Virginia, all lose.

Cuccinelli shot himself in the foot when he made a statement about rats and illegal immigrants in the same sentence.

He claims it was taken out of context. Maybe, but it doesn’t matter. The Democrats scored politically with it.

Don’t waste resources trying to take them all down, take down the defeatable in the strong R districts, and only the biggest RINOS of those. Make it clear why you’re going after them. If you prevail, the rest of them will suddenly be your friends.

Rove thought Cooch was a conservative, thats why Rove’s PAC didn’t spend a dime on his race.
