In Viet Nam, we sold off almost everything as scrap before the Final Collapse. I recall mountains of artillery brass that went to India and Pakistan. Every time I see some brass ashtray in a gift shop, I think of that.
While the cost of transporting all this gear back to the US is likely prohibitive, we could employ a lot of the Unemployed in rehabbing it.

Recall the pics of Hueys being shoved into the ocean off the decks of US Aircraft Carriers. Sad...

I doubt those Bradleys are going to be abandoned in Afghanistan. I remember hearing after the first Gulf War about the number of trucks, trailers, and, support equipment being left behind because it simply wasn’t economical to haul it back but not modern main battle systems.

Are you kidding?
It would ‘clash’ with their gold chains, gold grills, ghetto-rat baseball caps, Caddy Escalades and ring-laden fingers, etc.

This very plain non holder person would be interested if it were worth my while and got a little necessary training.

So this means that the current administration knows that Al-Qaieda will enter the US vacuum, that is, not only did we waste lives and billions, now we are destroying whatever is left “so it won't fall into enemy hands”? That's great, just great.
Welcome to the “Great Retreat”, starring BHO 2008-2016. All you need when fighting the US is patience. Patience to see the US begin picking itself apart, self-destruct and withdraw with it's tail between it's legs.

The companies that manufactured these products would scream their heads off if the suggestion to rehab it was seriously considered.
