When I was a Platoon Leader, I offered them a choice: they could straighten up and continue to have their omelettes made to order in the mess hall on the AF base we billeted at, or they could spend 8 months out of the year in the mud at Grafenwoehr with our sister battalion that was attached to the Big Red 1.
As a Battery Cdr, the choices were more far-reaching and potentially very expensive for them, i.e. Article 15, Court Martial, Chap 13 discharge, etc.
Truthfully, the only one I ever "lost" was an 18 YO kid who couldn't stay away from alcohol and jail bait, and the military courts took care of that one. I even testified for him as a character witness, but under a caveat of his being supervised 24/7/365 and an extra day for leap year.

This woman SCREAMS Federal asset. Odinga sent the Secret Service down there a few weeks ago to see what could be done about "getting" Zimmerman.

hmm, wondering how he happened to hook up with this lady. At this point, I think Zimmerman could have been set up. Not saying he was, but I’d like to know how many domestic violence situations he had been involved in before the Trayvon Marton episode. Is it a pattern with him? I don’t recall that coming up in the trial. Why all of the sudden, is he involved in domestic violence arrests? He seems pretty mild mannered. I heard a news report earlier today with both of them making comments. It struck me then. She didn’t sound credible.

As I did with the Trayvon Martin case, I will withhold my opinions and judgment until the facts are known. Too many on here jump in just to be saying something - and that is what is wrong with our judicial system today - too many don’t wait for the facts before jumping in on one side or the other.
It’s a pretty sad state of affairs when this is a possibility.
Anyone with with a thimble full of gray matter would insure that they did not remotely have the possibility of getting arrested in association with a firearm (or arrested at all for that matter) after having gone through what he did.
EVERY time he subsequently appears in the media spotlight they are going to slant it as "a symptom of what is wrong with the system" and utilize it to further the agenda of statists. In essence, the bulk of non stupid gun owners get to be tarred with his stupidity with respect to his personal choices in dealing with women and/or domestic issues and [allegedly] having a firearm handy.
He is repeatedly allowed himself to be foisted into the public spotlight on “apparent” weapon related public/domestic disturbance issues.
i.e. you may be condemning him for circumstances beyond his control. His only option to be sure this doesn’t happen is to be a hermit.
I think he still wants a girlfriend. This is complicating a story in which he really needs to man up and get straight and lean on God alone for a while. IMHO. Women troubles can pull down the staunchest guy who gives himself to those ladies. Case in point the historic King Solomon. Wise enough to warn about catting around. Foolish enough to actually do it (even if in a formally acceptable format... come on, do you really need to harem out hundreds of ladies, wise one?)

Well Solomon (the probable author) answered his own question at the end of Ecclesiastes. You got to accept God full-on in your life to mold it, or life is going to mock you with its seeming purposelessness. And yet we are not inert puppets. We yield to God’s will and we still choose. It would take a mind greater than mine to parse that apart.

Zimmerman was set up by the regime initially to advance 3 agendas, Stand your ground (gun control), collective housing, and whipping up the black base. When you have the full weight of a government painting a target on your back including supporting serious threats on your life. It’s pretty easy to crack up. But these series of domestic problems makes it hard for those who want to see this abuse of power addressed and their methods exposed when the main character becomes portrayed as an unsympathetic jerk.

The statutes Zimmerman is charged under were written by Femi-Nazi types (yeah, man hating bull dykes) and were meant to remove the assumption of innocence on which American law was based.
Hmmn — could one say under those laws, American law was abased?
In any case, those laws did remove the assumption of innocence for a man accused by a female - and why not?
