When I saw the story the other day about the lesbian waitress who was stiffed for a tip by a couple of customers who disapproved of her homosexuality, I thought it was awful, but I held off on commenting because something didnt seem quite right about it. Good thing that I did, because it was almost certainly a despicable hoax: [see link]

I’ve about decided that many of the racist homophobes at FR and other similar sites are actually trolls whose explicit job is to make conservatives look bad.
On another note, but something that comes to mind here... Remember Jeffrey Dahmer, the serial killer cannibal who was killed in prison? He had repented and been baptized and did Bible studies with a preacher who would go visit him. The preacher did an interview after Dahmer was killed and he said Dahmer was fully remorseful for what he’d done and had accepted Christ into his life.
On the other hand, Dahmer’s many gay victims, if you follow the Biblical teachings of many faiths... Where are THEIR souls now? Are they doomed to hell because they were gay?
Now ain’t that something? If you follow the doctrinal teaching of some of the pious Christians in our society, the ones who like to be judgmental, then Dahmer is having a chat with Jesus right now while his “faggy, sodomite, fudge-packing” victims are burning in hell.
I just find that ironic. It also reminds me that Jesus tells us that judgmental people may not be entering the Pearly Gates after all, like they think they are.
I think her grooming habits and cosmetic choices left very little room for doubt on the subject of her sexuality. If you watch the news report you'll see what I mean.
Apparently the maître d told the party that their server would be "Dan," instead of "Dayna." When she introduced herself to them, there was a moment of confusion about her name. Some have speculated that this moment of gender confusion may have made her angry, and this was the beginning of the incident.
The local authorities should be encouraged to charge these hoaxers with “creating a public disturbance”, with a judge giving them a fine equal to or greater than any money they received for their hoax. In addition to court costs.
It is condoning homosexuality to pay a gay person for work they do? Seriously? You'd prefer they collect welfare, starve in the streets?
There’s seem to be quite a few “hate crime” hoaxes involving people of a certain sexual disposition. There was recently the case of the lesbian ex-basketball player in Nebraska, and I vaguely recall of few others. Why is that?
How would you know? I've never had a server announce their sexuality to my wife or me. We've suspected a number, but really don't care.
Certainly glad someone called her onto the carpet for this.
Sounds like a made up media charade
Oh boo hoo you big ole girl.
And in the meantime the Amish family whose horse was killed in the drive by shooting will have to find several thousand dollars to replace their horse, probably all by themselves.
Some animals engage in bi-sexual activity. However, man was created in the image of God and should not lower himself to animal status.
You ate food handled by a coprophagic, disease-ridden boy-raper?
That is a lot of hand made furniture to sell. I think the guy who killed the horse is going to have to pay it off, isn’t that how its supposed to be?
If they can find him and he has two dimes to rub together. Hopefully their church district will hold a fund raiser.
This is an endemic problem in modern Christendom.
The Christian way of dealing with a sinner is the same no matter what the sin of the sinner. Minister the love of God to the sinner in such a way that the sinner recognizes that this is a better way to go than the sin is. Don’t hurl a bible at the sinner with a catty comment then stalk off.
Some people have created a category of extra-horrible sin that is exempt from such outreach. They’re wrong, and they are probably covering up for exercising a weak simulacrum of the gospel themselves. The generic gospel directive is “Honor God in your body.” Now if someone happens to be naturally heterosexual, they might figure this is superfluous. WRONG. They could be heterosexual “unto the flesh.” (Last time I looked, divorce rates were almost the same for professed Christian believers and unbelievers. That tells me there is a problem.) And anyhow if so, they are prone to looking down their noses at sex sinners, wondering why those sinners can’t be as good as them. When they are only sinning in a different manner.
Looks like the homosexual lobby is working hard to create the next Matthew Shepard myth of imaginary prejudice to try to advance their cause.
And here’s what the weird thing is.
Sexual expression with God in it is BETTER than sexual expression without God in it!
Yes you read that right.
It’s like our modern self righteous acting weak Christians don’t even know what a treasure that sexual expression with God in it is.
Those who DO know, are more likely to show mercy to sex sinners. Because they know they have something positive they can teach those sex sinners about.
And so they will try. And gullible and weak people will buy it.
We worry so much about how these people might pollute our society. Has anyone thought about “polluting” the sin — the shortfall — of these people with the better idea God has? And no, the better idea is not to send them to hell, if you need a clue.
If you’ve eaten in restaurants, so have you.
