As far as I know many of them are still there.

I do remember that Fox News covered the rape charges against the three Lacrosse players.

So what’s new? The NY Slimes is a leftist propaganda sheet. The fact that their former victim-of-the-moment murdered someone doesn’t meet the narrative.

I really think we’re wasting our time with these sorts of stories. The leftmedia isn’t going to change. Best to focus on the economics and do what we can to expedite their slow demise.

This is a perfect example of the worst of our news/media. Sadly, it’s also typical of what they do, only this time their narrative and story fell apart. I can’t help but to wonder how many lives they’ve ruined, and gotten away with doing it.

It would be good if we could somehow keep a running catalog of MSM stories that trumpeted racism, homophobia, gender bias, etc. - that then turn out to be erroneous. Just off-hand we had this Duke Lacrosse case, Tawana Brawley, the recent gay waitress story, multiple stories of people writing ‘hate mail’ to themselves, etc. etc.

Interesting point. So would the Tawana Brawley story. My son recently read and wrote a report on the book and movie “To Kill a Mockingbird” for a school project. Whereas it's important that true racism be recognized and denounced, I feel that the impression he and the other students are getting is that this is the way things continue to be, and that all racism is white on black. It's not honest or helpful to characterize things this way, and ultimately prevents racial progress IMHO.
