Personally, I see no point in praising murders, communist and terrorist.........
just because they are BLACK doesn’t make them special

All due to the RNC’s recent sensitivity training. Idiots.

Conservatives have been so intimidated by the Leftist mainstream that they can no longer stay silent when they should, or of course speak the truth. “shades of grey”, “mixed feelings”, we read on this forum regarding Mandela, “Revolutionary who turned into Vaclav Havel of Africa” says today’s WSJ. Pardon? Vaclav Havel was never an admirer of Stalin. “apartheid was evil”, again on this forum, as an excuse, I suppose, for the greater evil of today’s South Africa and Zimbabwe. Was it more evil than today’s rules in Saudi Arabia, Singapore or a dozen of other countries about which we never read, because there is no Soviet Union today to fund the worldwide campaign against them as it did against South Africa and Rhodesia back then?

If apartheid had been as evil as Senor Mandela’s own political party, he would have been executed on the spot the first time his butt was arrested.

Orange may be the new black, folks, while Third World savagery is the new normal.

/end rant/

Looks like Bevin’s tribute to Mandela has been yanked from his FB page. Cruz’s is still up, and there was a bit of a liberal backlash to the conservative criticism—all consisting of fact-free name-calling.

PC run amuck, none dare speak the truth lest they be hoisted on the racist petard.

It would have been better if Cruz had not said anything...but it didn’t seem pandering to me.

Never did I think I would see our nation go along with the world in the near worship of this man, but we live in the age where the truth has become a lie and the lie has become the truth.

What harm do a few gracious words cause? There is time for that and time for fighting. And things worth fighting for.

The next GOP President should open the US and grant asylum for all white and or Christians who are being persecuted.

Just don’t give a damn. The lefties pretend to respect
President Reagan so not such a big deal to pretend to
respect their icons.

Like most, there is good and bad with Mandela. Most of what is being celebrated is a myth, but there is also something to praise in man who served time, often brutally treated, and came out strong instead of bitter. Levin has a great interview last night that balanced the good and bad. He was one of the better members of a bad movement. He often stood against their leaders but ultimately was a ‘party-first’ guy when it came to elections.

For me, as some others posted, this is at worst a small blip for Rubio, Cruz and others who have higher aspirations.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) wrote that Mandela "will live in history as an inspiration for defenders of liberty around the globe."

Read carefully what Cruz said as it is lilttle praise but is the truth. Mandela is an inspiration to this freedom loving American Patriot. I will do all in my power to prevent such a degenerate, savage Communist from seizing power in this country.

So? Politicians lie.
We’ve had many thousands of politicians and exactly one didn’t and was successful.

We better stayed focused on America’s big eared version of Mugabe and what our future holds than South Africa’s dead Mandela and its past.

Good. Bad. Indifferent. God has judged him now.

.
I guess that his true colors are showing.

What can you expect from a politician?

Sigh.
