Dem press secretary says Ted Cruz, not Obama, made Nelson Mandela’s funeral about himself

The lengths Ted Cruz went to make the life - and passing - of Nelson Mandela about Ted Cruz is really astounding.—
Michael Czin (@MikeCzin) December 11, 2013

We’re used to President Selfie having a complete lack of self-awareness, but sometimes it trickles down and infects everyone downstream. Exhibit A: Mike Czin, national press secretary for the Democratic Party. Apparently he’s been spending the last 24 hours under a rock, and missed how Obama makes everything about himself, to the point of taking a selfie at Nelson Mandela’s memorial service. Not everyone on Twitter was as oblivious:

RT @MikeCzin The lengths Ted Cruz went to make the life – and passing – of Nelson Mandela about Ted Cruz is really astounding. #SELFIE

@MikeCzin Seriously? Were you even on the same planet today? If BO wanted a coherent message re:his hero, he couldn't have done a worse job.—

@MikeCzin you spelled Obama wrong…—

Czin was referring to Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, walking out on a speech by Cuban President Raúl Castro. Some Democrats just can’t imagine anyone actually taking a stand against Communism, instead of shaking its hand.

About him? No comment on the “selfie” the boy king made? Having fun at a funeral in that way is classless....no comment on that though

I sure hope Ted steps up and publicly supports Steve Stockman, who was on the Radio this morning praising Ted's stand against Harry Reid & Obamacare and stating John Cornyn turned his back on Ted Cruz.

That selfie sure does stick. There's no talking their way out of that one.

This is just another instance of the Dems accusing others of exactly what they're doing.

After trying since yesterday to avoid looking at The presidential selfie, I just realized that the photo of the selfie was actually taken by BHO’s personal photographer.

Now he is embarrassed. Maybe he’s worried that he will soon be leaving this gig “to spend more time with his family.”

Our side has saddled the ØbaMessiah (oldie but goodie) with a variety of monikers but I think “President Selfie” is going to have legs. Even though selfie is a recent term it is ubiquitous and has appeal to LIV (among others).

I know so because of the howls of protest generated by the left since it has been making the rounds. ;’)

Like Rand Paul who backs McC in KY, I think Cruz will ultimately endorse Cornball.

Pretty funny.

I guess Ted is popular in the Democrat fundraising letters.

Here's one :
Ted Cruz attacks Obama again now over Mandingos funeral. He showed up just to cause trouble. He shutdown the government and wants Obama to fail. Please donate $100, $500, $1000, other to the DNC election fund now before he stops our move forward and sends us back”

Correction :
Ted Cruz attacks our president again this time over Mandingo's funeral. He showed up there just to cause trouble. He shutdown the government and he wants Obama to fail. Please donate $100, $500, $1000, other to the DNC election fund now before he stops our move forward and sends us back”

I would like to think Stockman had spoken with Cruz before jumping into the Cornyn primary. ...we’ll see.

Same here. Another great endorsement would be from the Senate Conservatives Fund. They’ve backed Bevin over Midge McConnell and it’s giving Midge absolute fits.

I just got an email from Senate Conservatives Fund trashing McConnell and saying don’t be fooled if he votes against this budget as he pressured The House & Paul Ryan to pass it.

Yep. No doubt Midge will play the same “hide behind the vote/no vote” game ALL of the RINO’s play. Cornpone does the same thing...he did it with the 0Care vote (cloture).
