Owner Darden Restaurants says the seafood chain is underperforming and wants to sell it. Red Lobster has failed to attract the number of higher-income diners that both Olive Garden and LongHorn Steakhouse have.

Red Lobster is fine as long as you actually order actual full, whole lobster or crab legs. It’s pretty hard to screw up lobster (or crab legs) - drop them in a pot of boiling water and serve and with butter and lemon. RL does that fine.

The prepared dishes are the problem. They do suck.

There's two within about 12 miles from me and both are now owned by foreigners,,,,,Lebanese I suspect.

The service is awful and the food is over priced and awful ....I'll never return.

I love Red Lobster. You seem to know what it takes to make food good but I’m not sure what you mean by their “prepared” dishes. What should I not order the next time I’m there?

We buy from Schwans all the time. Didn't know they had cheddar biscuits. I take it they're good?

Over the many years I have had only 1 good meal at Red Lobster.

They are rude, incompetent and the food sucks as much as the service.
