I went to an area CB this afternoon. All of the Commander/ Dynasty merchandise left was stuck out of the way on the clearance shelves and marked 40 per cent off.
I have about $40 in gift certificates from CB given to us a few weeks ago. I sure don’t want the company to keep that money free and clear that someone else already paid. So I wonder what would likely have the smallest profit margin for the company inside the store I could use them on?
That’s a goood question. I don’ t know what kind of profit margin they have on food. Maybe the discounted clearance items?

Oompsy.....too late to stop the damage. In my mind Cracker Barrel is forever linked to the homosexual lobby groups. As is JC Penney
I had exact same experience in a phone call. ALL Phil items removed. It’s not duck dynasty vs duck commander ....it is PHIL removed from both brands
I will vote with my feet. Until and unless they apologize to everyone and rehire Phil... I am outta there!

I never said that. What I said is there are more stories. I read they only removed Duck Dynasty products; not Duck Commander products. So there are different stories which stand to reason out there.

When we made the decision to remove and evaluate certain Duck Dynasty items, we
offended many of our loyal customers. Our intent was to avoid offending, but
that’s just what we’ve done.
You told us we made a mistake. And, you weren’t shy about it. You wrote, you
called and you took to social media to express your thoughts and feelings.
You flat out told us we were wrong.
We listened.
Today, we are putting all our Duck Dynasty products back in our stores.
And, we apologize for offending you.
We respect all individuals right to express their beliefs. We certainly did not
mean to have anyone think different.
We sincerely hope you will continue to be part of our Cracker Barrel family.

Boycott them anyways. Make an example of them. F’k their fake apology.
