1. Three teenagers were shot on Christmas night in Newark. Two of them died.
2. It appears that one of the two who died was a 13 year-old girl who was an innocent bystander -- shot by a stray bullet while she was taking out the garbage in front of her family's home.
3. The other two were males -- 14 and 15 years old -- and were initially described as harmless kids with bright futures who were honor students in school, and who were shot for no apparent reason. The news stories were littered with photos of them when they were 11-12 years old, along with the predictable sob stories about all the "victims of violence" in Newark.
4. It turns out that one or both males were targeted in this attack. One or both of them were apparently gang members. the 14 year-old already has a young child, and the 15 year-old (who died) has a girlfriend who is expecting a baby.
The local news website has been filled with comments from readers, calling out the reporters for whitewashing (no pun intended) this story. Some of these readers did a simple internet search and came across Facebook and other social media pages of the deceased 15 year-old ... which showed that some of the photos posted in the online news stories had been altered so that gang symbols and gestures had been cropped out.
The last two months worth of Facebook posts from this thug (it seems like every third word is some variation of "f_ck," "n_gga," etc.) make Trayvon Martin's online messages look like they were written by Shakespeare.

Indianapolis, Chicago, Newark and other cities see an increase in gun related deaths.
Maybe they need to put up more ‘gun free zone’ signs. The ones they currently have up don’t seem to be working all that well.

Got to thank the gun control pimps in New Jersey that it was probably an illegal gun that was used .... see gun control does work?
