The first same-sex wedding in the history of the Tournament of Roses Parade went off without a hitch -- except for the planned one -- despite threats of protests and days of opposition on social media.
"Congratulations and our best wishes to Aubrey and Danny on their wedding day!" said KTLA-TV Channel 5 broadcaster Bob Eubanks, one of the live telecast show's hosts, as the wedding-cake-shaped float passed by the viewing stands.
The vows took place near the end of the two-hour telecast of the 125th annual Rose Parade. There were no major incidents reported.

Na, Christians are tolerant of it to a point. The only “bomb” we do is facebook bombs like what happened to CB and A&E.

It went by real fast, you could of blinked and the float with these 2 GAY MEN were over, in addition Bob Eubanks and Stephanie Edwards did not announce the GAY Float, some other person did then after that Bob and Stephanie kept on speaking for the remainder of the parade...
I don’t think God considers them to be married. I don’t either.
I wonder if the Rose Parade officials would allow a “Straight Pride” float next year.
Precisely why I did not watch any of it. I don’t want to watch 2 queers getting maried or have anything to do with it.

The whole “event” on TV went by so quickly that if you blinked you would have missed it. Intentionally so, I am sure.
