The father is not a politician or any kind of public figure. I have no idea if he voted for Obama or Romney and would not be surprised either way. (Our town went about 51:49 Obama.) He is successful and seems comfortable in his own skin. He doesn’t flaunt his wealth. He’s quiet, but not snobbish. I don’t know what motivated him, but I admire his actions and an thankful that I live in a country with people like him.
You’re welcome, and I agree.
Looks like Anthony Wiener just texted her a photo of himself.......
Moses had a speech impediment and he did alright. Of course he had some serious help from Aaron and God Himself.
Stay warm.
My kid played the handicap general in a school play. She already knew the part because I gave her “Welcome to the Monkey House “ to read. That and Animal Farm
Very true. When confronted with the consequences of bad behavior this frequently happens. The goal is to reverse the power equation and have the offended against party end up apologizing to the perpetrator. A fair number of (white) women have much poorer anger controls than do men because they know there are likely to be few or no consequences for actions such as physical assault (slapping, choking, hitting) males or destroying or damaging property (keying motor vehicles, destroying personal possessions, or other destructive acts). Women will bald faced say these things aren't acts of violence but just them showing their ‘feelings’. These things go on in plain view and many male readers here can attest to the truth of the statements. Men rarely bring such actions to the attention of law enforcement and even in states where there is an iron clad legal requirement that all such charges will be acted on, women are routinely given a virtual pass by law enforcement and the courts.
