The attacks are a little early. The MSM usually waits until their candidate is nominated before destroying him. I guess in this case his own big mouth got him in most of the trouble.
Hopefully, this takes him out of the race. He isn’t a real conservative...
“politics of jerks in office”
Ironically, the only entire healthy function of government is to protect people from jerks, foreign and domestic. But jerks in office is what we’ve got.
I think it fitting for Christie and his staff to have his POTUS aspirations come crashing down on him. Good riddance....
Here’s a simple New Jersey problem to the Chris Christie problem:
Step 1: Set up an event Christie will attend.
Step 2: Make certain the event has a raised stage and all the principals must walk up a set of steps to access the stage.
Step 3: Substitute the normal set of steps with one rated for 300 pounds and guaranteed to splinter and collapse over 325 pounds.
Step 4: Set up a camera to capture the action.
Step 5: Countdown to the entrance of the reincarnation of William Howard Taft (albeit without Taft’s intelligence.)
politics of jerks in office Bill Clinton is back?
If Christie actually thought Big Media would still be supportive of him against a Democrat (ANY Democrat), then he is too stupid/naïve to be in National Politics. Every RINO should have understood how it works after McCain was destroyed by Big Media in 2008. The Media only love ‘republicans’ when they are hurting other Republicans (and complaining about the TEA Party.
He closes a highway lane and Libs and press go nuts. Obama shuts down national monuments, White House, etc., keeps out old vets and the Media sayeth not a word. A pox on all the Left.
May we assume that you would prefer Hillary over Christie? That may become the showdown...
Christie is a perfect governor for any N.E. state especially New Jerk.
Think back to the November elections. The RNC gave Christie money he didn't need to boost his percentage, in preparation for a presidential run. If instead they'd supported Cuccinelli with campaign financing and advice for avoiding liberal traps for conservative candidates, we'd have Senator Cucinelli.
The puppet masters will probaly try to insert anothoer RINO fake constitutional conservative who has the blessing of the Chamber of Commerce. I don't think it's going to work anymore. This just might be the straw that broke the camel's back. We should stop being voting fodder for the elite.
I believe I get it. But, really, we have a "better chance"? Please enlighten us on how we conservatives are going to have a "say"...
The GOP-e will still try to defend Christie...in fact Boehner already is...but much to their detriment. Even Christie butt kissers like closet democrat Michael Medved will have no credibility trying to prop up Christie’s dead but still twitching political corpse.
Debunking Christie is a huge hurdle we (conservatives) now don’t have to overcome. That fact alone gives us a better shot.
You vote. In a GOP primary. The same way the RINOs do.
Maybe you mean Govenor Cuccinelli?
Michael Medved (radio) does not think Christie has a chance due to his caustic personality. I was beginning to think you were in his camp...
But, what are the chances a Carson or a Lee actually make it to the final round???? They are too gentlemanly and polite. We need an ass-kicker like Trump who can get enough votes to beat that Bencrazy denier. I would rather have Christie than her. Who do you recommend that could win the battle?
Look...I live in the state that hired McClame. The demo presence is growing and the establishment of Snottsdale runs the place, so they keep sending this character back.
We could not get a genuine conservative on the ticket or we would send Joe Arpaio and fix things in about 6 weeks. I remember the day someone shot at one of his patrolman’s vehicles from somewhere in the small “Mexican” community of Guadalupe (adjacent to Tempe). Joe brought out his tank on a low-boy, backed it off and drove down their street while standing in the turret (complete with 50 cal.) and used a bullhorn to ask if someone would like to take a shot now. Never had another incident. Hmmmm.
Thanks for the correction. I did mean should’ve been Governor Cucinelli. My point stays valid. Making a RINO look as good as possible took precedence over giving a conservative the boost he needed to win the election.
