TV pics of the Meadowlands look like Moscow in the depths of winter. Whoever thought this was a great idea should be fired.
For once, as a lifelong Packer fan I agree with Da Coach.
Playoff games have to have a home team, sometimes that means cold or snow. This was a CHOICE by the NFL driven 100 % by $$$$$$$$$$$.
PS
The Bears still suck!
All that for a damn game!?!
To spend even $1,150 for a Pooper Bowl ticket is stupid.
$2,200 is insane.
Wait. Wait.
So this means that the economy isn’t really booming?
Are they (NFL) trying to sell enough tickets so they (NFL) don’t have to blackout the game in the New York/New Jersey area? /s
Still overpriced by a 1,000 dollars.
$1,150 for the nose bleed section and triple that for travel and lodging. Hahahaha! Fools and their money.
If and when I watch it, it will be in the lie 70s on a well made plasma big screen, there will be no lines in either the bathroom or to
The refrigerator.
It’s good to be the king.
I LOVE watching a game in bad weather especially blizzard conditions.
I wouldn’t GO to one. But I like watching them. Get me some more nachos will ya hun?
There's parking for about 10,000 cars. Most of the wealthy NYers who could afford these tickets, and would go to the game..go by limousine. They'd normally be dropped off in front of the stadium, and picked up after the game. However, security is NOT allowing this..they've set up several drop off point some miles from the stadium, and people have to take buses from there to MetLife, and then back after the game. This is gonna take hours, each way..and these people won't stand for that inconvenience, especially if it's freezing out side.
Anyone who opposes a cold weather Super Bowl is NOT a football fan, but a fan of cheesey and sleazy halftime shows and the spectacle of the “big game”.
Were all the playoff games Ditka coached at Soldier Field “stupid”? Should they have moved those to Miami, Honolulu or Rio?
$2000 for a football ticket?! LOL
in New York during the winter? ROFLMAO
Ditka’s right. This game should be played in Tampa - every year...forever.
And it does not disappear in four hours. Also enough change left over for snacks.
Don’t know if the link will work here, but ticketmaster sent me an email advertising superbowl tix.
$1620 for nosebleeds, $25,500 for front row, center.
Too bad my Pats didn't make it. It would have been a home game, with these unsold tickets being snapped up by Pats fans.
I'm shocked that the game hasn't sold out yet. Seattle fans seem very dedicated. I'm not too surprised by the Denver fans no showing up. Either way, the economy must really suck.
What about the stupidity of building that stadium in New Jersey without a roof!!!
$1150.00? Thank you so much! Now all us regular fans still can’t afford it.
I only wish it could be so cold that they cancel the halftime show.
