Who was feeding them lies? Any guesses?
I didn’t know there was a feud.
I have heard Rush mention Levin on his program a few times, and I’ve also heard him mention stories on The Blaze website.
I don’t see why these guys need to “work together”. I like their individual approaches (Hannity not so much), and I think they all offer something different.
So Beck wasn’t for Romney or same sex marriage?
Were those lies?
Hannity stopped calling Levin ‘The Great one’ ?
Levin used to tell his listeners that it was Hannity who helped him get a national radio show.
I notice Rush and Hannity left WABC NYC 770 and left Levin behind. Seems like the three were on that station forever, and I can get it here in Maryland on clear days and nights.
Levin is constantly running down other talkshow hosts, who he never names and except for his bashing of Savage I usually don’t know who he is talking about. He calls them back-benchers, gets a little old after a while, he must spend a lot of time listening to his competitors.
“his role was to affect culture”
God help us
LOL!
Beck,Hannity,Levin and Rush,,,
interesting.
Squeeze in a little Weiner,,,?
A lot of whining here on this thread. Don’t toss the baby out with the bathwater. Beck though slanted in his Romney support, has done a heck of a lot of good for this country, as has Levin...it is Sean who is the one with Rove as his guest. I’ll take any unity I can find. Sure, I’d love to have Savage and Rush in this mix.
Sounds made up to me.
Obama will send the FCC and DOJ after them for collusion.
I used to listen to all the talkers as much as I could. Mostly thru podcasts and live streams. I burned out. But the primary people were Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, Ruaty Humphries, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, Mark Levin, George Noory, Dana Loesch, Steve Deace, Jerry Doyle, Hugh Hewitt, Andy Parks, Laurie Roth, Herman Cain, Neal Boortz and sometimes Alex Jones, because he went on C2C and feuds with Glenn Beck, among others. One thing would lead to another and I would land on new people and check them out.
I can honestly say that many times they don’t know what the other guy is up to or saying and doing. So they make stuff up. They also do get competitive so then at times they start feuding. When that happens they start listening to each other enough to find things to attack each other with.
At the same time few of them were friends, but it is rare.
Not all of these talkers will agree on everything 100 percent. And they tend to sometimes focus on small miniscule things that bother then about about other talkers than the bigger picture.
Rush Limbaugh is one of those guys who has made friends with just about anybody he can,in the conservative talk radio movement, but has also “worked” or met with just about everyone from Rusty Humphries to Bob Grant to Neal Boortz.
So, in my opinion, the feuds took away from focusing on the messages of the talk hosts. Everyone has their favorites or the person whom they get to hear because of time constraints and changes in affiliates and syndication in each city and area.
All I can say is do whatever you want. I found that people get into feuds over hosts as listeners on internet forums about as much as the hosts. So, in the end, I’ll follow who ever I want. And it matters little what others think about if I want to hear what they have to say. But after hearing lots of shows I burned out.
I still carry a Blaze subscriptions and now my favorite talker Dana Loesch replaced Glenn on Fridays with a Blaze show. Granted, i don’t believe her when she says she used to support and actively campaign for Democrats. And then she had an epiphany. The story is as corny to me as the one Steve Deace tells about how he came to be conservative. Started with him finding the Promise Keepers. Ok then. Whatever works for them is fine with me.
I also still subscribe to C2C podcasts and Rush Limbaugh. Everything else I get for free. I think Rusty Humphries is without a show now so I dropped his podcast, which has another host now. And I think Hannity’s podcasts are free since leaving his former syndication and that Savage puts his archives at youtube for free since he has no podcast page.
But I say to each their own. I no longer promote anyone I might like.
