And this is why people on the East Coast half at us, you should see the non stop coverage here, you would think we would have to build an Ark or something LOL

IMHO the first storm is no slouch for a SoCal storm. To me it looks like the first storm will soak up the ground to a degree and that will make things worse when the second and larger storm arrives. Looks a bad scenario to me, especially those living in the foothills and the burn area. Come Sunday a lot of people may be in trouble.

Obama was just in Fresno bemoaning global warming. He must be some kind of a messiah.

Global Warming at its worst: first it brings droughts, and now floods. It’s certainly proof that global Warming is a VERY robust theory. All observations of weather provide proof!

So does this mean that California is now in transition between its two seasons, fire and mudslide, and will have a couple weeks of flaming mudslides?

Crowds, fires, earthquakes, drought, mudslides, high taxes and liberalism, traffic, and wackos everywhere. Is good weather really worth it?

When I moved to CA back in the 80’s people told me about the “Storms”.
They said most of the country calls it “Rain”.
Lived there 15 years and never saw a “Storm”.

Man! Complains when it doesn’t rain and then complain when they get a half inch. There is no pleasing these people.
Pray America wakes up

Here's a radar image of the storm.
I get five feet of rain a year here and when I visit my son in SOCAL, I'm disgusted at how dusty, gritty and grimy most things there you touch are.

Get the snow chains, skis and snowboards and take a ride up to Mt. Baldy. At nearly any other latitude Baldy would be considered world class terrain. The 2-5 days a year is all the epic you get.

Seems it never rains in southern California
Seems I’ve often heard that kind of talk before
It never rains in California, but girl, don’t they warn ya?
It pours, man, it pours.
