G’night all.
Why is there an English language Russian station. I don’t get that.
That’s because they are all in THIS country...
Today’s Russia is a open society compared to the Soviet time. People can oppose Putin and they won’t be sent to Siberia. People can openly practice their religion and churches are being rebuilt. Russians can now travel abroad. It has to be admitted the dark side of Russia is massive corruption and lack of transparency. When all is taken into account though, one thing stands out: no one wants to go back to the Soviet time.
Propaganda.
Why is there Voice of America?
I think he means do we have a Russian-language Voice Of America?
We abandoned the necessity of informing Russians of our viewpoint as soon as the Soviet Union went out of business on December 25, 1991.
The Voice of America currently broadcasts in 45 languages (TV marked with an asterisk):

Yep, Russia and the Russian government are still 100% Communist, just like 30 years ago, and the US government is still stridently anti Communist, just like 30 years ago.
RT is funded by the Russian government. It's carried by satellites to over 100 countries. It's for worldwide consumption.
August
I recall it was in Foros the Soviet Union died. Gorbachev was on holiday in a place again in the headlines: Crimea - when Communist Party apparatchiks moved to oust him. Their failed coup didn’t save the Soviet Union; it led to its swift demise by the end of the year.
You’ve been fed too much propaganda yourself.
It’s refreshing to hear conservative views on Russian media...as opposed to leftist propaganda on VOA.
oops on my part!
you are 100% correct.
I really almost made it that time. ;’) G’night, for sure this time.
Arming them didn’t turn out so well for us.
Because even the Russians are offended by the bias of our state controlled msm.
