Sure, this behavior is hateful and a time may come when the most righteous response will not be “legal.” We know that as a battle or a revolution.
There are no "cop haters at Free Republic" but rather some who are a bit exuberant at times to point out they won't be bullied by punks with a badge and a gun, just because they have a badge and a gun. This is a normal and to-be-expected response of people who think individual rights, freedom and liberty are WAY more important than someone's vision of social order.
